My Lightning Pro motorcraft chips populated this Wednesday. Around 40 pages of data I have no idea about, but it’s good news. Hoping to have it home in 2-3 weeks. I also look at my first Lightning Platinum, interior was not might cup of tea, looked like it was made for a pimp. The frunk is high. My Lightning Pro dealer that I ordered with invited me to drive a XLT demo they just got in, can’t wait to drive it next week

I have a Pro fleet order (on paper, not in process) in NC. My dealer (Charlotte market) told me last week that only four fleet/Pro orders were showing anywhere in the country---two in Cincinnati and two in Twin Cities (MN) markets

You can replace the steering wheel pretty easy and move the controls over. It should match the current f150. I have seen plenty of KZbin videos. My current XLT has that steering wheel and it has been fine for the last 4 years

I am tempted to! However, my original dealer has kept his cards very close to his chest regarding my place in line, so it's hard to know if I would benefit from moving to Kings Ford... 🤔🤔

Do you know what features are on the Pro trim that you're going to drive? Is it standard range battery or extended range? Does it have Tow technology packages? Does it have Max tow package? Should we get the Max tow package anyways because of the extra cooling system on the battery? Do we even need either of those? So many questions swirling in my head, but I'm excited to see what you display. The Pro trim is the one I want to get (even though I'm about 3 years out from being able to order one).

I have no info on the vehicle I'm driving Tuesday beyond that it is a pro trim. However I don't tow a lot so I won't be opting for the max tow or tow tech package in the interest of saving a few dollars and getting the vehicle faster. If you tow, both of those items would be very helpful especially if this will be your work truck. Those 3 years will fly by I'm sure!

@@JosephHerzog Yeah, I don't tow much either, but I didn't know if it was still a good idea to get the Max tow package because of the extra cooling on the battery. Enjoy the drive, I'm excited to watch it. I know you got your own plan on the broadcast, but questions I would have (for what they're worth) would be 1) should I get the max tow package just for the extra cooling (even though I don't tow). 2) On the standard battery, does the truck still come with plugs in the bed with the regular pro power (not the upgraded 9.6 pro power). 3) Should someone upgrade to the pro power 9.6 version and why should or should not do that. 4) is the extended battery worth it (for an extra $10K). This is just going to be my truck to get me around. I don't tow, it's not a work truck. It's just the only car I fit in because of my size (and it's cheaper than an SUV). I appreciate all the videos, keep up the good work.

All great questions Brian! I have not seen a single Lightning that does NOT have outlets in the bed, regardless of the 2.4 vs 9.6 kw pro power onboard. I'll be sure to clarify that though on Tuesday. The 9.6kw is the only upgrade I opted for when I made my reservation build with my dealer. As for extended battery, it depends on how you drive. For me it wasn't a headache since the price of the extended range XLT is way out of my budget. Thanks for watching!
