Savile was knighted because he buttered up Thatcher before she was elected PM, and she got the impression his endorsement was partly responsible for her rise. So it was SHE who pushed for him to get a knighthood each year from 1984 onwards, until he did in her last year in office (1990).

Look at her podcast on Jeremy Bamber, she essentially swallows hook, line & sinker, the nonsense from Jeremy's defence team - a surrogate for Jeremy himself. Let's remember that this is a man who is in prison for murdering his family in cold blood, including two sleeping six year old twin boys, and then staging the scene to try to frame his sister for the murders, and she did an entire podcast claiming his innocence based on complete rubbish. I agree about the Madelaine McCann part - I think she died there and the parents covered it up and disposed of her body and concocted the story that she was abducted. Why? In my opinion, the only reason they would do that, and keep up the appearance of a kidnapping and not come clean? Would be to protect the other children. I believe that - wholly accidentally - one of the other children killed her, and is too little to remember it, so the parents lied to protect the other child and will not say so because they don’t want the child to grow up knowing they did it., only reason that makes sense for me.

Wait, is the age of consent now 18 in the UK? Because she doesn't just say it's inappropriate or immoral but that there can be no consent below the age of 18. If you want to say that's how it should be, fair enough, but that isn't how it is. You can quit school at 16 and join the army, it's not like 16 is an age where you're not allowed to make any important decisions.

I am sure it was consensual because the runner was 16+. He would not have been employed unless he was at least 16
