@@antonioelaventurero9117 well he was still not asked and plus the movie was being filmed while part 2 haven't made it to theaters yet until November 9th 1990 plus alex was 9 years old when part 3 was being filmed he didn't know that he was being replaced by justin Whalen who was 15 at the time of the filming justin didn't turn 16 until September of 1990 so part 3 was rushed and released to theaters months later in August of 1991 and that was when a 10 year old Alex was like why they didn't ask him to be in the third film but then he got over it and appeared in the 1993 family film call a family treasure hunt at age 12 that would be his last film to focus on finishing school alex graduated high school in 1999 at age 18 he wouldn't return to acting until 2011 at the age of 30

To give you some insight, Chucky was a notorious serial killer before becoming a doll. It's in his nature to kill people. Him killing random people is based off of his psychotic nature. So he has to keep coming after him so that his life can be fulfilled. lol

Fun Fact: This movie was rushed to be created. After the second film in 1990, the writers had to write a script for the 3rd one almost immediately after the second one was released, not giving the producers enough time to create interesting storytelling. The casting also was rushed. They wanted to tell the story of an older Andy Barclay while not wanting to wait for Alex Vincent to get older, which explains Justin Whalin’s presence in the film. It also kind of explains why Tyler is not seen after the Hunted House scene, and the wrapping up of his character arc is left unresolved. One of the people who worked on this franchise had said that this film was his least favorite. But if you ask me, the film was pretty descent and underrated and overall kind of loosening up Andy’s geeky personality, along with him swearing and what not. He’s become a badass when he grew up. He never has let his guard down, and if you haven’t seen the Chucky tv series, that further demonstrates how tough Andy really is.

I finally got my answer back in 2006(started senior year in high school) when i finally saw THIS movie as to why Chucky had scars and stitches in BRIDE OF CHUCKY. I had seen 1 & 2 , when they were Aired on TV. I used to be so terrified of Chucky as a kid , so I never would have bothered to check them out on my own. (Blockbuster/ video rentals before Netflix) Unless I came across them while flipping through channels. And....it was ALWAYS in Spanish channels (telefutura Telemundo). AND.....seeing them on TV, a lot of good things were cut out(shots of 🖕 🖕 and toning down cursing in Spanish )

It's a military academy, and they were using special paint ammo that would have basically been like getting hit by a beanbag/paintball. The most unrealistic part is that the academy staff didn't check them before handing them out and the recruits didn't also check them. Cause that's like one of the main things taught about gun safety, treat it as if it always loaded and check it yourself to ensure that it is empty or has the proper ammo in it. That is one of the reasons why that film shooting with Alec Baldwin is such a disaster, because he still denies he is at fault for anything eventhough he didn't check the gun himself to make sure it was actually a "cold gun" (had blanks or was empty), he just took the word of whatever crewmember handed it to him. Then there was the propmaster in charge of the guns on that film who would have probably gotten someone killed eventually, since they were apparently allowing live ammo to be loaded into the guns so they & other crew members could use them for target practice when not filming, and supposedly was keeping that off the books by not keeping records of when they did it let alone who had been using which guns.

Now you can see what I meant by they change the rules around the ritual. Like they dont matter because in the first three movies. He could only transfer his soul into a first-person he toled his real name. So that would mean in Bride of Chucky he would have to track down the one kid from this movie. But in Bride of Chucky and afterwards that rule no longer applies. So you have three movies saying heres the rules for the ritual. Then the 4th one goes forget those rules they no longer apply. He can transfer his soul into anybody so it makes the fact he hunts down the one from the first two sequels pointless. Its like in the 4th movie they forgot something called continuity and what it means. So I lost interested in seeking out and watching these movies. Because there's no point if they are going to treat each individual sequel. Like its its own separate movie with its own rules an ignore the rules of the previous movie. So I only watched them when they whore on TV if nothing else was on. Not to mention Chucky was literally cut into ribbons. By that fan but in Bride of Chucky all it takes is a few Staples to put him back together. After what the fan did to him in this movie. Theres no way just a few Staples will put him back together onces again they forgot something called continuity. Now you know why all I care about is the facts that the movies. Say an show because you just seen the first four Child's Play movies. 1-3 they push the fact that he can only transfer his soul into the first person he tells his real name. Then out of nowhere it is dropped in Bride of Chucky and never mentioned again. Then you just seen him get sliced and diced into tiny pieces by giant fan. But in Bride of Chucky he's basically still intact and just needs a few Staples. Then hes good to go completely ignoring the fact he was sliced and diced into pieces in the previous movie. To the point no amount Staples would put him back together. But they completely ignore that in Bride of Chucky as well. I can an do turn off my brain to watch movies. But if its a movie sequel I know enough to look for stuff from the previous movie in it. So if they changed or ignore facts from the previous movies its like they. Do not care that its apart of a movie franchise because they just changed the rules for no reason. I mean if they wanted to do something different with the rules just make a new movie with those rules. By that I mean a completely new movie fantasize. Because if you have a movie franchise that establishes certain rules in the first 3 movies. It makes zero sense to change them for no reason. That is basically saying to people paid attention to the movies. We the ones that directed and wrote the movie Payed less attention to the previous movie than you. But what we are now saying an showing you is important. But that stuff in the previous movie it's not important. This is why I stopped watching an caring about certain movie franchises. Because they go who cares about anything from the previous movie just go with what we say in this one. Continuity does not matter in any way even though we are making a sequel here but continuity does not matter. For anyone reading this comment and doesn't see a problem with movies doing it. How about if a book series did this exact same thing. Set established rules for characters in one book then in an nother book completely change them. Its the exact same thing regardless of the format. It makes no sense and should ever happen.

Yet no one ever complained about it or complains about it. But the Hellraiser movies that you have not seen yet. Other then 2 of them because even I admit those ones are not good. But the others tell a different story revolving around a box that's all I will say. But the Hellraiser movie franchise gets highly criticized because its sequels are completely unique and different compared to the other ones. Where is Child's Play movie franchise jumps around just as much as Hellraiser with it's rules. But no one criticizes it for it but they will give the Hellraiser movie franchise hell so to speak. When it makes actual sense because everyone's experience with hell is going to be different. So the movies are naturally going to be different because it's about a different person and their personal experience with it. Because with no spoilers Hellraiser and it's movies are about people's. Personal experience with it not really about the things that come out of hell. This is why I point all the flaws in Halloween, Child's Play and Friday the 13th. Because these are movie franchises based of one character so it should be easy to have concrete continuity. Between all the movies because it's about one particular person or character. But these movie franchises completely screw it up but not one person says it's a bad movie franchise do not watch it. But when you bring up Hellraiser it's a whole different story they go only watch one an 2 and Skip all the rest because it jumps down and makes no sense. When the movies are about people raising hell meaning it's about the people and their experiences with hell. Its not specifically about hell it's about people's experience with it. But that one movie franchise get all the hate when it actually makes sense it's different stories. Whare as with Halloween and Friday the 13th and Child's Play. They are a continuation of one characters story so there is no valid excuse or reason for it jump around. But they do but you never hear anyone call them out on it. Even say just watch the first two no people say you have to see them all. Thats why I call these movie franchises out. Because no one else will or does but they will dogpile on the Hellraiser and movie franchise. Basically if you're going to complain about one that does it when it makes sense story line wise. But not complain about ones that jumps around and make no sense when theres no excuse for it. Im going to step up and level the playing field an point out all the flaws in every franchise that no one complains about.
