I had the chance to see Sensational Sherri Martel at multiple shows, she was an awesome talent. One time an audience member was mouthing off and she got tired of it and sat on the 2nd ropes & signaled for him to come into the ring. The guy refused and the crowd started chanting for him to get in there with her. Good times, she knew how to get a reaction.

1:33:56 Strike Force never had a payoff match to their split, I noticed that, but I appreciated how every time after that in a Battle Royal situation Tito would go straight for Rick. As a kid I always thought Rick and Sherri were related somehow.

you're right. strangely there was no payoff BUT commentators would almost always mention their prior tag team > break up and you're right tito would continue to "beef" for years

Tito & Rick should have had a big blow-off match at WM6.......... Barbarian could have easily squashed Koko instead. With a re-book; WM6 could have been a GOAT-show. Hogan (C) / Warrior (C) Dibiase / Jake (Disappointing match on the night ......Should have been a banger!) Perfect / Brutus (PERFECT WINS FFS!!! ....You could still have the Genius haircut spot so beefcake can get his heat back.) Savage / Dusty (Keep the shenanigans with the women, but just make it a singles match & have a ref-bump to allow for the Liz finish.) Tito / Martel (High work-rate grudge-match... They really could have had a classic.) Piper / Rude (Another fued without a big blow-off match) Demolition / Colossal Connection (C) Hart Foundation / Rockers (#1 contenders match) Bossman / Akeem Duggan / Earthquake (w/Dino) (Quick win for Quake after a trip from outside from Dino) Barbarian / Koko

When will Bruce Prichard & Conrad Thompson go back to recording future episodes of the 'Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard' podcast like how they used to?... The way they recorded the episodes where they talked about John Cena's WWE debut in mid-2002 & the debut of 'ECW On Sci-Fi' in mid-2006, for example were great. I miss that format.

Nope, so the brain busters actually left the wwf right after the 1989 survivor series in November. Either Arn Anderson or Tully Blanchard failed a drug test and they both just left wwf and went back to wcw. Flair didn't come to wwf until the fall of 1991.

@nbaldwin45
@nbaldwin45 Жыл бұрын
Heenan was heavy but wasn't strong enough to post on Warrior like bigger guys like Rick Rude or Hercules. Warrior just struggled with some guys though. He never pressed Mr Perfect properly, probably because Perfect wasn't comfortable taking the gorilla press. Honky Tonk Man stopped taking the move because he said Warrior couldn't do it properly and he didn't like being dropped behind Warrior. Rude apparently tried to explain to Warrior how to do the move properly but Warrior didn't listen and kept doing it his way. Reminds me of Tom Zenk talking about being in absolutely agony when Vader pressed him because Vader had him RIGHT by the nuts.

I love how Bruce has for years defended the Red Rooster angle. "He didn't like the gimmick, so it flopped". Dude could have LOVED the gimmick and it still would have flopped! Not as a face, nor as a heel, is a guy gonna be taken seriously as he struts to the ring with a red mohawk on top of a blonde mullet while roosters go cockadoodlefuckingdo over the speakers! It was stupid childish nonsense that was NEVER going to get over. Bruce, for the love of god, just own it!

Thank you for promoting ketamine. It's got a terrible stigma and misconception that it's for horses. It was first used on vets from nam for panic and PTSD. I'm a PTSD patient and it's the only thing that stops my brain from going into full on hallucinations. It's so liberating being able to get 3 hours or more of sleep finally and not having to relive my traumas. Im not waking up out of bed screaming and being combative with those around me because I cannot calm down enough/honestly convinced I'm still experiencing said traumas. Since ketamine I haven't woken up full on drenched in sweat and punching holes in my wall or attack people. I'm no longer worried about waking up to someone in a headlock. It's been years since my last outburst because of it.
