@@thekingofkingsrp exactly! I use to watch this show and the rumble as a kid over and over almost solely due to the commentary of those two guys. I still use some of the one liners and quote Bobby Heenan from those shows. During the piper hart match he says something about the fighting styles between the street fighter piper and the technician hart…then asked about how would you take it to piper …what would you do??….he says something to the effect of I’d use my wrestling, I’d use my technical ability to wear piper down ….and if that doesn’t work I’d Waffle him out back with a tire iron!!! I’d get it one way or another..it doesn’t matter as long as you get it.

@@ROSTAFA that doesn’t matter to me. What I loved was the Hogan versus Sid match. At that time I had always wanted to see those two go one on one. I had wanted to see this matchup since Sid was in WCW. I was disappointed in the Flair-Savage ending. I wanted Flair to have a long title reign. Not like the ones he had in the NWA, but possibly to Summer Slam. I guess it’s my favorite, not for how the matches played out, but for the matches were on paper. My biggest problem with Warrior was that even after he dropped over 50lbs, he carried on wrestling EXAXTLY the way he did before. It was hilarious seeing him overpower Papa Shango or Kamala who were twice his size but Warrior wasn’t smart enough or dedicated enough to change up his style.

@CHICANO19758 ай бұрын
I remember some folks saying that the "First warrior died, and that the second one was Kerry Von Erich in facepaint. " In terms of Hogan vs Flair, the sizzle wasn't there for the possible showdown because the WWE FAILED to promote it like a big deal. I also think sometimes Vince sabotages possible main event showdowns because either one or both participants in the match weren't created by Vince so he does the minimum to promote it and gain interest.

I was 10 years old when this went down. I’m from Seattle and Ric Flair had the name power. WCW was on TV in LA and New York and when Flair got to WWF especially with the big gold belt - even at 10 years old I wanted Hogan Flair at WrestleMania 8. I think the 2 reasons it didn’t happen was that 1) their styles don’t equal a good match, and 2) Hogan was leaving after Mania. They weren’t gonna have Flair win as Hogan leaves. Just my opinion. Also this was the first WrestleMania I ever saw live on PPV and it was AMAZING. Especially Piper vs Bret. Savage vs Flair AND Warriors run in at the end. THATS how you end a Manoa.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't a drug raid in st. Louis. It was a escaped criminal that broke out days before. Apparently he was convinced of satatory rape,and running a illegal possession of a weapon. As I heard it one of his victims thought she spotted him in the parking lot of the arena and she went to a pay phone and called the cops. I'm not sure what the end result was. I think they found him a few days later.
