This is a really intelligent duo of musicians. But their songs can often be so emotional and spiritual too. I hope they still have many more albums left in them. Right from the start their songs were an excellent retort to the mistaken idea that keyboard music and "synthpop" music is soulless. Sometimes it sounds like McClusky in his singing will burst into tears. I especially get that feeling with the absolutely wonderful "Joan of Arc" - though they have done some truly breathtaking songs since.

Gorgeous song, beautifully composed !!! Reminds of something that was born out of Architecture and Morality, and Sugar tax. I do feel personally though that if Bauhaus Staircase is to be O.M.D.'s final album, (and possibly more singles to be released), then this should have been the very last single to bow out with. Just my humble opinion !!!

@@SJ-tk4ri Try your hardest not to let a couple of comments upset you. If you read it in a newspaper, someone said it in conversation, or in another forum presumably you would not be so sensitive. The repetitive, unoriginal and eulogising comments made by many OMD fans about their music is tedious and really boring.
