OLD BIRD TYPE: GREATER MACHINE DATA: The Old Bird is an autonomous, offensive weapon of war with a humanoid design. Measured at 19 feet tall and 11 feet wide, its two most defining visual features are the spotlight positioned on its head, capable of emitting 100,000 lumens, and the long-range acoustic device on its chest, sometimes referred to as a sound cannon. There are additional speakers on its shoulders used to broadcast sound a long distance. The Old Bird's left arm is a claw, and its right arm is a nozzle capable of both launching rocket-propelled grenades and torching at close-range with a very hot flame. One of the most amazing memories of this game I still have to this day first time taking the apparatus on Embrion and hearing my friend on the radio telling me that hell's broke loose outside, telling me that all of those robots have come to life I'm like "oh I'm sure it's not that bad", me and my other 3 friends go outside and see the fucking war of the worlds giants burning, robots flying, missiles soaring, I was the only one to make it back alive and just barely. I had 200 hours of playtime at that time.

Special - Like Cerberi, Old Birds can appear inactive in level geometry before activating and attacking. They can still spawn like normal enemies, however. Passive - Old Birds will set any enemy alight, as if they were coated in gasoline. This includes V1 Attack 1 - The Old Bird will hover into the air, flying over to V1 before trying to slam down onto them. You can parry this with the KNUCKLEBLASTER, causing them to stumble for .5 seconds, like a Guttertank whiffing a punch on standard. On Brutal, this will not cause them to stumble, but will still fully heal you and prevent all damage. 50 damage + 24 ticks (12 seconds) of afterburn dealing 14.4 damage. Attack 2 - The Old Bird will fire a barrage of missiles at your location, curving like in Lethal Company. Deals 25 damage, and in brutal mode, will cause 40 ticks (20 seconds) of afterburn for 20 damage. Attack 3 - The Old Bird will use their flamethrower arm to set a certain area alight in front of it, doing this for around 1.5 seconds, dealing 0.4 damage every .5 seconds to anyone in the AoE and causing 40 ticks of afterburn. They will attempt to track their target if they move around to the other side of them. Attack 4 - The Old Bird will attempt to grab V1. If successful, they will be set alight with the flamethrower for 80 ticks of afterburn (40 seconds) for 48 damage, before being tossed away. Attack 5 - A short ranged kick with high knockback, dealing 15 damage. :3c

I love this song, it both sounds good and fits the energy of pulling the apparatus, and being off-put by the radiation warning as brackens, coil-heads and other monsters come out to hunt you while the cries and stomping of old birds can be heard outside the facility. What an amazing atmosphere and such a fitting track for the situation players are put into when this plays.
