This has probably already been pointed out, but a good deal of one of the more popular video supplements to the Duane and Brand0 Sonic rap comtains many clips of your battles. The egg emperor and the Mystic Ruins boss in particular stood out to me.

The reason that liscenced song's in the credits is because the group, dreams come true, helped compose the music for the first two games. they also did it again in sonic 06.

You don't often see an ending where it doesn't look like he got away. In sonic 1 he flies off in his helicopter, in the master system version of 2 he teleports away and Tails teleports to you. In this it looks like his mecha falls, he doesn't even get out of it let alone abandon ship.

Someone's probably already pointed it out to you, but the guy from the Japanese band Dreams Come True is the person who made the music for Sonic 1 & 2, so it isn't that SEGA licensed the song, it's that the guy who made it for Sonic also decided to use a version of it with lyrics for his band.

In aqua ruin's boss,Supersonic needsno help getting to the top of the totem pole and if can bounce to the other totem pole with the only support being robotnik.You can also infinitly stay one one pole and camp because the hammer can't hit you. So yeh,he makes quite a bit of a difference.

There's the safe way of beating it, and the insane way. The safe way takes longer, but is easier. Basically it involves only attacking once, when it first lands, and running off to the side of the room when it fires it's fists off. Force Eggman to land at the sides of the arena, giving you more room to move about. What-ever you do, don't let him land in the middle unless you want to attack from behind. The isane way is jumping over it's claws as it walks. Hard. Or from behind. Even harder.

@DarkKagura Think he's referring to difficulty of defeating it or at least the chances of it hitting you. The Casino Night boss with it's arena gimmick makes it not that hard to get hit by Eggman. The Hill Top zone boss however can be killed the moment it comes out of the lava with no danger of getting hit by something. So Super or not, it's not going to make a difference.

@Patrick Z. Robotnik's face was burned off in the explosion, if you look closely, his face is red, which is the color of the meat under your skin. You stick your hand in a fire, come back, and tell us what color it is. As for Sonic being American, that could be true, though I say Sonic's world isn't Earth, it's Mobius (which I say is COMPLETELY different from Earth, Mobius was never Earth at one time.)

Nice one, I have my own methods for that Egg Emperor thing though, like I'm sure everyone does. Didn't know he was called Egg Emperor though. Basically, I stand behind him when he first rises up, and can get five or six hits in before he takes off. Then it's just knocking him on the nose whenever I can. Not as quick as your method, but safer nonetheless.

I've figured out what I'm doing wrong, but its still hard to do, last night I think I figured out how to hit him when hes walking, right when you hit him while hes walking, you've gottaturn back fast the other way, so thats what I'm doing wrong, still its hard, but each time I get to that level, I'm one step closer to beating it!

Best technique for Metropolis Zone Boss: Wait for him to go to go to the middle and start swinging his balloons. After that, the balloons will be just wide enough to hit. As he drops the balloon DO NOT POP IT. Hit him and pop any of the two balloons. At least keep one balloon around to prevent him from attacking

Sonic 2 had a few difficult bosses, but geez, among all of the Genesis Sonics, its bosses were the easiest. I always loved the Oil Ocean trick where you could just jump under the platforms and avoid enemy contact, and I loved how easy Emerald Hill, Chemical Plant and Hill Top's bosses were.

The Metropolis Boss is easy if you have at least one balloon onscreen, he will not bother to attack if there are balloons onscreen. If you have 2, you can pop the first one.

i must of played this game almost 100 times, sure at first i would get hit by bosses etc, after awhile i could do them quick and w/o dmg...never thought of hitting metal sonic just by spin dashing from the start, quite clever of you...and slick move at the mystic cave boss, dashing at the last split second to get away, too risky for me

Every boss in this game is do-able with little effort...then you get to the death egg and fight robotnik's robot machine thing...hardest fight I've ever done in a sonic series.
