and IIRC the reason is the same as the red Omochao and the always starting with 1 point - visual identification purposes so no one can try to claim rando gameplay is normal gameplay for a speedrun or something.

17:16 best part about shadow's response is it's from his menu theme where if you go to the soundtrack thing in extra, he just says that. It's similar to whenever you go the menu theme switching menu with rouge or egmman where they are insulted or confusedto you swapping them out. Rouge is insulted, eggman is disappointed.

Each of the characters seen in the video is from the multiplayer mode, and they all have different stats compared to the normal characters, like amy being the slowest of the speed characters but she makes up for it by getting her special abilities faster than sonic or shadow.

For Mad Space (you probably know this and I may be interpreting what you said wrong but,) the hints are reversed. The first clue is read backwards (left to right), the second clue has the opposite meaning and the third is a lie/basically tells you where it is. But for the clip you showed, the hints didn't match up to the emerald scanner's randomness. Sorry if this is coming off wrong😅
