Well if at least the female characther didn't look like abominations then maybe they could had made more sucess. I really don't like to look to games only by their aesthetic, but Dragon's Crown really needed some lessons of anatomy, they reach the uncanny valley with their female characthers, and even Rob Liefeld can make better. I'm not going to lie the game is gorgeous, but the lack of correct anatomy was their biggest problem.

Slayers Inverse Yeah, Odin sphere was beautiful and awesome. Too bad it was on PS2, a console with less graphical power than my microwave, so the framerate chugged super hard in some of the foggy Netherworld sections(which is kindof an issue in a fast-paced action RPG). You can fix that by emulating it though.

ultrapwnd I don't remember many games with bad anatomy, like yeah, they can have cartoon anatomy, but they still going to have many rules about how to move and pose humanoid character. Dragon's Crown problem for me is many of the characters that I saw looks "broken" and wrong. And is a shame the game is beautiful, the animation is fluid and the gameplay is great. What I'm saying is, if your character going to look like a disgusting monstrosity don't blame the consumer if they don't buy your game.

Seeing Sonic Blast Man makes me think of a arcade game from my youth starring him, it was a really weird cabinet for what was basically a first person boxing game. First of the cabinet had a camera and you had the option to take a picture of yourself and slap it on whatever villain ya where fighting, secondly instead of buttons or a joystick or something you instead had to actually punch a small punchingbag on a stick and depending on how hard you punch you did different amount of damage to the enemy.

in the arcade version of Captain America & the Avengers, when the character dies, he says "I can't move!" it's hilarious. also, Sonic Blast Man was a "test-your-strength" game in arcades. it came with a boxing glove, and you literally punched the bag as hard as you could. i remember it from the boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey.

Oh my gosh, I've never seen anyone acknowledge Zombie Revenge's existence before. That has always been one of my favorite games, and it's soo overlooked. Awesome!
