There's an overlooked detail that makes this fight even more awesome than it already is: The Knight's attitude towards Sonic, and how it changes throughout the fight. At the very start, it's toying with Sonic, just rolling around and slapping the ground at him. It's not scared, you're just a pest it wants to squash, but not too quickly. It's not taking Sonic seriously at all. And then at the very end, it's fucking TERRIFIED of Sonic. Its final action is to hold its arms up to shield itself from its own sword.

Actually I don't think he's terrified of sonic. I think he figured out he can't hurt super sonic but know he can Continuously knock him back and stall him out until his forms time limit hits which is why he keeps his guard up with his sword throughout the second phase and lets his shield do all the work rather than face him head on knowing he can't physically damage super sonic

I actually just noticed something interesting about Knight. Giganto is commanded by Sage to attack Sonic and only attacks him on his own when he goes Super. Wyvern is also commanded to attack by Sage, and he only attacks on his own when Sonic lands on him and rushes for the Emerald. Knight is the only one that always attacks Sonic on sight without Sage needing to tell him to do it. It could be a coincidence, and Sage could've told him to attack offscreen the first time, but I think it's because he realizes Sonic took down the last two Titans and is therefore a huge threat to The End's seal, so he's taking him extra seriously now.

I dont know if the devs did this on purpose and I havent seen it done in any playthrough yet, but when knight puts up his shield everyone usually spams it until you get the quick time event to toss it back at him. In my playthrough if you combo the shield once and then dodge sonic actually flies around the shield and you can continue hitting knight even with his shield up. It looks so seamless and smooth.

The way the Knight draws its sword when Sonic goes Super has such "Okay, BRING IT ON" energy. Giganto came off like a berserker, Wyvern came off like a feral beast, but Knight? What I do notice about knight compared to the rest of the titans is that it barely shows any red colours (on the body I mean). The first two titans were taken control of by Sage which explains the red lining and supreme was still in control by end. Knight seems to have been the only titan that wasn't in control or such
