It's really amazing. You can see Chris Chan's gradual "evolution" by looking at the comics alone. It went from drawing anatomically "accurate" genatalia to prove his heterosexuality and taking pot shots at the gay community to a sex change over the course of a few issues. Insane the entire time, but finding new creative ways to be insane.

The line for 'what is a woman' ends exactly where Chris thinks she's at because she just doesn't care about other people. Sure, she could care about other experiences and social transitioning, but that's other people's problem. All Chris wants to do is talk about herself and rant about her own thoughts and problems through a childish comic book where she's always right and anything bad she does can be handwaved with a quick 'I'm sorry' to the bad guys. Like we're basically watching the equivalent of a grown-up using dolls to play out their anxieties and frustrations. None of it's even remotely interested in telling a story or thinking of other people's experiences, it's just ALL pure Chris trying to express things that bother her. It's always bothered me how Chris handled Sonichu's kids growing up for two weirdly specific reasons: 1) them growing human-like hair makes no sense and also looks horribly ugly. That's not to say they'd be amazing designs if they looked like literally every other character of the species, but it makes so little sense have the Adam and Eve make genetically different offspring. Their hair color at least could've been closer to their fur color at the very least; 2) their evolutions somehow jump the characters up in age from like 5 years old to 17, which is weird and creepy, but they're also all written like overly intelligent and introspective for their ages, regardless of form. It makes reading through these later issues a lot harder than it needs to be when it's already horribly boring slice of life garbage that Chris was already insufferable at. I dunno, these comics are not something I or anyone should take seriously whatsoever, but since the focus went from childlike shenanigans like "Chris and co fight mall cops that are the product of an evil school staff member" to "watch a child grow into a woman so they can go shopping at the mall," I think some criticism is a little warranted.

Hey criticize away. It's how Chris just projects a lot of his views onto the children, including Robbie, not just his views on men, but female too. Chris didn't waste time in putting Robbie into a sexual situation. We all write smut but at least the characters are of the age of doing it and not, I just age them to get away of writing underage children smut because Chris can age his characters all he likes because in my eyes The main cast are still teenagers pretending to adults The children are still well children. Chris writing them overly intelligent, likely him thinking he was a wise kid so just weird projection. But you hit the nail on the head, when Chris stopped writing the comics about beating up trolls, Mary, jerk ops, it turned into Chris projection of his demanding to be part of LGBT community, adding memes and not getting the jokes, adding what anime references he steals. Issue 10 was the peak of Sonichu, but it goes downhill with Jessica Quinn's influence The Idea guy influence Trying to rip off Rosechu's story Getting on not only Courtney's case of her designs but a fanfiction too Adding unnecessary lore to retcon everything Chris Should just be honest he doesn't care about writing Sonichu because everything even his return to the internet is keeping a dying meme on life support.

It's so funny that Chris abbreviated Spironolactone as "Spiro Meds" because Spiro Tablets are a thing and they're used for bacterial infections. So the immediate reading if you don't know it's abbreviated is that Robbie just has some crazy infection going on. Worth mentioning, Spironolactone is used as a testosterone blocker. So it does make sense because when you transition male to female you want to block the male hormone while also introducing the female hormone. But also, Robbie's literally a Pokemon in a world of magic and hyper-advanced technology, so it's kind-of weird that they'd still be relying on our normal modern human drugs for this. If you want to make this a thing then you'd think they'd just have an item or something for it just for the sake of narrative convenience. EDIT: OH RIGHT. NEVERMIND. I forgot that Chris got suckered into the conspiracy rabbit hole of thinking music can change your body and make you Trans, lol! I guess something does exist for that in this world, it's just really badly handled! I AM 22 BUT have developmental and intellectual disabilities to the point where I have the mind of a child. I can definitely be taken advantage of, and HAVE been manipulated, it’s really scary. I’m deemed in need of high support, I can’t get a job, I’m deemed non consenting, I don’t really have the capability to make choices for myself, I’m basically a kid. How I view the modern world is how a child would, I cant grasp super complicated subjects, i can’t cook, I can’t clean, on top of a whole other bunch of stuff that non disabled people take for granted, I like cartoons, I have meltdowns, I like Lego, toys, comic books, sweets, I still believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny (although nowadays watching cartoons are becoming less and less of a niesh I've noticed) I live with my mother who i'd be lost without, im asexual so i don't even WANT to partake in those types of acts with anyone. However mind you, little kids can get crushes too, their just different from adult or even teenage crushes, my first crush was a girl I knew on my street when I was 8, the reason I liked her was because we both liked Lego. It certainly wasn’t sexual or anything like that, it was just a crush I didn’t understand. Even now when I have a crush on someone it’s always in a very non sexual childlike way, I just wanna play with Lego and watch movies and be their for each other. I hate that autism to some people is just “special interest hehe quirky” when their exists autistic people who’s life are ACTUALLY negatively affected by it. I've seen some kids learn something as a 12 year old but i cant even begin to comprehend it, My father abused me my entire life, he punched me and strangled me when he was angry, he alienated everyone in his family and even when I was diagnosed at age 12 he STILL didn’t even believe I had autism. Not to mention my Christian school would target me for bullying and targeted harassment because they knew I was too timid to tell giving me life long trauma, then had the gull to try and kick me out so they didn’t have to deal with me, which my father blamed me for, My mother eventually had the sense to throw my dad out of the house, which of course he blamed her for. He went on to start a brand new family to replace me. Yeah I had my nana who always cared and mom who did her best with her crappy circumstances so I at least had some resemblance of a support system.

God I hate how the confrontation between Christine and Reldnahc is handled, as well as the follow-up of Reldnahc just deciding to be evil again. I know this is Sonichu, and expecting good story and characters is stupid, it's not why anyone is reading this, but this is one of those times where Christine could have written something good, and just let the opportunity slip by. Imagine this, instead of Reldnahc just turning into a mouth-piece for every criticism Christine remembers having gotten, he brings up his actual personal grievances with Christine, like how Christine tried to forcefully convert him and her then hatred of the queer community. Christine acknowledges that she was wrong, and while she has changed, she is still sorry for her actions, and tells Reldnahc that if hitting her will make him feel better, he can go ahead and do so, and she won't try to stop him or defend herself. Reldnahc is taken aback by Christine's sincerity, but hides his surprise and uncertainty behind a mask of cynicism and indifference, leaving as he tells Christine she isn't worth his time. As Reldnahc wonders whether he can actually trust Christine, and what he should do now, he's contacted by Metal Sonichu, who offers him his powers back and re-stokes the flames of his hatred. Thus, Reldnahc is re-established as a major villain, but we the audience know that there's a chance at a redemption arc. And as a bonus, Christine fully acknowledges her past homophobia, instead of deflecting with "But I was actually a trans lesbian all along, so it's okay"

That would have actually required Chris Chan to have some form of understanding character writing that isn’t just to stroke their ego/punch people down for actions Chris themselves brought upon themself… I’d wouldn’t hold my breath on Chris actually writing something like that. (One can dream though.)

You can’t possibly maintain a characteristic often related to the opposite sex and still be your native sex. It’s much too complicated for someone to NOT adhere to stereotypes and not transition into a gender that does. (Disclaimer: I have nothing against trans people, I’m just poking fun/highlighting/whatever at the stereotype where trans people are trans because they’re the opposite stereotype. That’s all.)

@@thathero5953 …except he DOES know about the tomboy/femboy concept, even calling himself a “tomgirl” at one point. To be frank, to this day, I still think the only reason Chris transitioned was because he wanted in on the Lesbian crowd. Perhaps the fact he hated everything about his version of men played a role too, but I don’t think either case could truly diagnose him with gender dysphoria.

Watching this right now an thought sparked in my mind thanks to your video, Chris says they dont retcon things but one big retcon is the murders at the trail, Chris says also we dont know how true events unfold in these worlds, i have a theory...what if the Trolls living in the Amish Country are Clones and Chris who has links to Mewtwo cloned them to retell the stories and events to make Chris themselves look better...and in later things you can see Chris clones from Nightstar and if Nightstar is a 1 to 1 of Chris it means Chris can do it....this just sparked into my head lol

If you don't follow Chistory, these comics probably don't make a lick of sense. (They don't make sense anyway, but the context behind them helps.) If you're just reading the comics, it might seem like the "pride" stuff comes out of left field, but you gotta remember that these issues of Sonichu were released many years apart (which is why they go from 2009 - 2011 in just this issue, why people like Ivy are brought up and then dropped page by page, why Chris seemingly transitions from MTF overnight, etc). Chris is f*cking delusional - like, literally, she thinks Sonichu is real and that she's the reincarnation of JESUS CHRIST THE CHRISTIAN GOD - but it can help knowing the timeline of Chris's life if you're just utterly lost. A lot of people are familiar with Geno Samuel's really excellent and ongoing Chris Chan documentary (and if you aren't you are now!) but if you don't have time to sit through all 80+ parts, other KZbinrs I would recommend for getting caught up at either Lore Cattle Ranch's A Short Introduction to Chris Chan or Turkey Tom's Chris Chan's Horrifying History. Those two are much more manageable 2-3 hour videos. I've seen a lot of Chris Chan documentaries/yt videos/coverage and I've been around for a lot of her history myself and I would recommend these three places for accurate history you don't have to dig into yourself. But there's always the cwcki if you want to get your hands dirty.

This issue as well as some others really show how uncreative Chris is. He keeps reusing various names over and over again and the character designs for some of them are the same as others. THeres a number of Chris and Christines and even some Crystals(One user noted that Chris will likely inevitably just call himself Crystal).
