Sonos Ace vs AirPods Max vs Sony XM5: Not Even Close

Not my experience at all after running Sonos for a few weeks. The Sonos Ace definitely needed a “break in” period. Bass sounded muffled and treble sounded artificial at first, now I prefer them to my Sony headphones. But again, took a few weeks of use.

Totaly agree! It takes a couple of days to realy hear the precise details in the sound. The sound in combination with the Arc is truely amazing. I think because of the price and the name of Sonos we have unreasonable expectations. I love my Ace, it’s the best headphones I ever heard 😊

Worth to adjust EQ. Bass -2 and treble +3. And most important - turn off Loudness. Sounds great.

Not even close the max coe in last. The sonos ace 2nd and the Sony are about 5 leagues ahead in terms of sound quality.

When you try Bose or Sonos you should test it with a snap dragon chip phones.. otherwise you’re missing something

Gotta have to take this reviewers opinion with a grain of salt! He clearly is biased - leaning more towards a certain brand. Sonos Ace sounds amazing straight out of the box compared to AirPod Max to a lot of people but this guy is clearly is ignoring that fact. So nope - not a good basis of comparison.
