Hello! Thanks for your video! I have a question because what you showed didn't work for me unfortunately. What happened? A few days ago, while watching a movie, my TV displayed something like a "matrix" board (I'm not sure how to explain it better). After I restarted the TV, a white full screen appeared from the middle, and then the screen went blank, and the indicator started blinking red 5 times. I read that this might be a Tcon issue, so I found and replaced it. Now, I have a green/orange blinking indicator. I tried to do what you showed in the video, but after loading the file, the indicator started blinking 1 long orange/amber and then for a couple of seconds, it turned red, and it keeps repeating in an infinite loop. Do you have any idea what's going on? Should I replace the motherboard as well, or what else could be causing this problem? EDIT: Okey, I fixed this problem by changed USB Device, unfortunately, when software has been updated/upgraded/installed. i can hear sound from the TV, but screen is not display anything, only backlight works, what should I do to fix this problem in 100%? Please help me :(

Hi i am repairing the KDL-55W802A, i get this flashing as well after replacing the tcon board… apparently they do not have this firmware on their website, but i was able to fond a bin file… can it be a bin file or is it strictly pck… any advice?

Hi there, After replace mother board for almost exactly the same one (there was only V after some of the board numbers) I have Green and Orange Error. After applying your solution TV has gone thru whole update process. When LED become blinking white and there was no longed activity on Flash drive I have tried to switch TV on with button on the TV not on Remote. I have backlight but nothing on the screen. Initial problem before I went for shopping for replacement board was vertical lines at the some areas, especially where TV station logo was or some menu words. Right now there is nothing on the screen. Is that mean that TCON on LCD panel itself might be faulty? Thanks Dziekuje

I have a Sony Oled A8G a week ago my tv was working fine suddenly it’s display turned off but the sound was on & remote wasn’t functional so i waited for 1 minute & decided to turn off tv by switching off button from main board after that my tv is not booting so i called sony they send technicians so they hard reset my tv using power & volume down button from left side of tv but there was no boot up sony logo or else it is just a solid green light not blinking they waited for half an hour then they said just keep it turned on the tv was turned on whole night but nothing happened so they said there’s a motherboard problem with it we need to replace it what do you think please reply

55w755c. Replaced mainboard - blinking green/Amber. Installed update - got ambient music coming out of the TV but still no picture and green/Amber keeps flashing. Any advice?

Changed my motherboard and have the green and orange flashing light. Done the usb card and white light started to flash after a few minutes. Then 5 mins later it goes back to green and orange flashing light. Can hear the sound but screen not coming on? Any ideas please

Same issue here. If I press up and down on the remote I can hear the sounds. But the screen is black

I tried this with a kdl-42w705b after swapping a ICB, the only software update I could find was a .bin file of 234mb and that didn't work (did format drive to fat 32). This is not an android TV. Any tips?

I know this is a 1 year old comment, but what worked for my 2013 model is putting the folder that contains .bin file to the usb flash drive. So not only the raw file itself. File names also needed to be unchanged. And I also formatted to fat32 just in case.
