I have come to realize that we filmmakers, we are the ones who put stress and test of quality (sometimes extreme quality) on our work. It amazes me how ignorant the consumers of our work are about the camera used blah blah but we have this inherent desire to improve and use the best....in the long last this trait makes us better even though we have this limited external quality check...but we should not again limit ourselves when the best tool is beyond our reach. Looking at those images you produce with just C100 MII, it's just amazing and shows how we can achieve the impossible with the limited possible.

Thanks for this strong words and thangs for watching, its true I have screened the film several time and during Q&N no one ever asked me which camera I have shot with, In most cases the audience has O knowledge on equipments used to make a movie yet tech is here to make life better.

I have de Canon C100 mark ii, because I got inspired from your video. I also have the Sony A7 mark 1(Full frame) and the Sony ZV-1. Bet the Canon C100 mark ii is a game changer for me.

Sony's firmware roadmap states that a 4:3 Open Gate will be available late next year. Also will include more anamorphic desqueeze options

thank you for yr video. One question please..= with 8.6K sensor.... what aspect ratio can you achieve with Viltrox Epic 1.33.... and or 2.0 lenses.. thank you

Thanks for watching Man! to be honest I never used those lenses, but for my understanding your might need to shoot in 16:9 and adjust accordingly in post to get the desired anamorphic look!
