Hi todderbert, love your channel. All the Sonys are great! Looks like they have a new model out, ICF-P27. Looks exactly the same as P26

The dial is different, and of course the P27 uses a DSP chip now.

I'll take a radio with an analog dial any day! The digital radios to me look like calculators with speakers, too cold and functional, no soul. This radio on the other hand has a nice look . Looks like a radio! I saw one in a thrift store and should have bought it. If I bring home one more radio, I'll have a big problem . great video as usual.

The ICF-19, if you have access to D Cell Batteries. It will run forever :) Great reception as well.

enjoy this while you can... the USA wants to slice and dice both AM and FM bands to cram more stations by reducing all power's and making these stations local markets. one method is to make AM in 9 kiloHertz steps, and 0.1 mega Hertz steps on the FM bands.

That game was a replay from 1984. (I wonder if there was a rain delay) Mario Soto came within 1 strike of a no hitter, but the Cincinnati Reds won the game. I only know this because I’m a baseball nerd that’s a big Reds fan. I have listened to WLW Since I was a kid in the 70s and 80s, that lead me to becoming a radio nerd. It was very cool to hear that replay, thanks Todderbert.
