You know…they could’ve just worked out a situation where Walt was the lead chemist, Gale was his second in command and Jesse was the lab assistant. Walt could have named his formula the “Heisenberg formula” to smooth his ego which I’m sure Gale would have honored…him being a fan girl for Walt and all…then once Walt made his money he could’ve retired allowing Gale and Jesse to graduate in their roles. This was such a high point of the show. Or rather, of Walt’s situation. Dude was making bank ($12 million a year if memory serves but it’s been a while), had a good working relationship with Gus who had an established distribution network, could choose his own work hours, he was basically untouchable. Mike was 100% right when he told Walt that he screwed up a good thing. Why would you want to put yourself in the crosshairs like Walt did? That ego alone cost him everything.
@thedragonballguy75705 ай бұрын
It was Jesse that was the chain reaction. He wouldn't have stood for what Gus' henchmen did. And Walt wasn't willing to let him go down. If he could have Heisenburg'd up and let Gus kill off Jesse then sure, things would have run like clockwork. But that was never going to happen. It wasn't pride that led to the whole operation crumbling, it was compassion.

No way this would've worked. As gus said, he needed 200 pound a week to make this financially viable. If he gives Walter 50m, he will need another 300pound on top of the 200pound. So no, no way buying out walter's formula would work. Even if gale had the same skills as Walter, he wouldn't be able to produce 500pounds a week. I also don't think they can move that many meth in a week.
