Part 1:
• Soprano Guitar Build (...
So this is almost just a video of me trying to learn a totally new instrument, mistakes and all. Hopefully future videos will feature how useful it is. The important thing here is to remember the potential such a high range instrument has in an arrangement. We could even have a full quartet of guitars with this guy! Of course we are no where near finished experimenting, so be sure to let me know of any improvements to try. Let me know of any techniques to try too!

@shadow105720
@shadow105720 4 жыл бұрын
Longer scale length, thicker strings, 36 frets with real metal should give you better stability and access to individual notes. The concept works on bass because the scale lengths permits distance between frets and high tension /stability.

I'm really curious to see how far you can go with a baritone scale. I have been looking online for a 29 fret baritone guitar. This would give it the ability to reach the highest not of a normal 24 fret guitar. Unfortunately, I don't think they make them which is disappointing. Do you think it is possible to either convert a bass and add to its scale or add to the scale of a baritone this way? I would find it convenient for live performance.
@SaidTooMuchProductions
@SaidTooMuchProductions 3 жыл бұрын
That's a good idea, a baritone conversion neck I bought for a strat went from the old 21 to a new 24 like a 3 fret bonus past the old nut, so similar idea

@@SaidTooMuchProductions I currently own a PRS SE 227. Great baritone guitar. But the range is too short when I want to hit higher notes. I know the simple solution is just to get a 7 string. But I prefer 6 strings. It's just easier to use.
