It is Definately a Epic Bromance.
@MichaelGiordano777 Жыл бұрын
Ironically, it's not because of Gandolfini. It's Curatola that stole every scene. He was a much better actor. Tony usually sounds like he is on a Broadway stage most of the time walking the planks. Curatola on the other hand could sell it. Tony just couldn't sell it most of the time. He wasn't respected as a boss. Always reacting to a bad situation that he or one of his crew created. Always stuffing his pockets with fat envelopes while the rest of his crew struggled to get by. He wouldn't last in any real crew as a leader. And Chase wasted way too much time on Tonys spoiled kids and dysfunctional family. Don't even get me started on the therapy sessions. That was only to save money on location shoots that are very expensive. Good night!

@@MrLimborace Actually Tony was very much shocked and humbled because he knew right then and there there has been a rat in his inner circle of Capo's to Johnny Sack. That is a huge problem for him and at that moment he doesn't know what Johnny knows else and for how long. First he wants to know who the rat is. But Johnny doesn't give him that information. The second thing he tests is his own safety and relationship with Johnny. Denying he was there and that he didn't hear about it, testing if the rat also sold him out or is more or less loyal to Tony still. After that Tony claims he still has full control over his group. But he doesn't get any reassuring information from Johnny. Then he takes a humble approach by refering to old times sake. He came to the meeting with the intent to get rettribution for the beat up kid. Perhaps a stake of the pie at the esplanade. But he left with bigger problems than anticipated.

***** Yeah, if not his family loses everything. A lot of times when people go away for long stretches, other 'family' members lick their chops and take over their rackets. Same thing happens with all organized crime it seems. Their real family gets zero or marginal help, guys get out and have to start from scratch. OMGs brothers are low enough to take the others bike, his bike is supposed to be his life. Its all about money, its always been about money. in the old days the Mafia ran the jails, nobody cared if they did time. Fuck that, john did what he had to for his real family, he was fucked anyways.

Tony and Johnny Sack. i loved both of them when they are together on screen. It shows such a deep bonding between them, a side they both choose to show each other and trust other. its wholesome to imagine such connection. This is not possible without so serious Writing in the Series. What a Legacy.

When Johnny Sac replied with "right, that's rich", I knew Ralph was in trouble. As a kid, I used to here that phrase, "that's rich", in that same sarcastic ass tone just before I got really chewed out or worse the belt was broken out. For me, "That's rich" has kinda been like the shoreline pulling back just before a tsunami. And yes I know the shoreline only pulls back some of the time, depending on what section of the wave meets land first, the trough or the crest. These trolls come out from all angles so you have to cover your base at all times.

+jottaz1 He was just an associate, he wasn't a member so Johnny S didn't really break any rules rather he was more disrespectful not to go to Tony first considering their relationship. Had Donnie K been Chris or Paulie etc then it would have been a far more serious matter not solved by a hug and a bouquet of flowers for the guys mother.

Man, I miss James Gandolfini. He was one of the best actors ever. The look he puts out when Sack tells him what he already knew about the joke. Shifty looks side to side while feigning ignorance all well-acted with facial expressions. What a sad loss that he's gone.
