Simplest way to clean out a grinder attachment between batches is to push thru a slice of stale bread. This is an old trick I learned from my great grandma.

dang this is actually hard. and it would depends on moods. Mike's burger is the most balanced to me. crunch, lettuce, cheesy. Jamie's super filthy, something I'd take on dinner and beer. Barry's simple and subtle, and I really like sweet caramelized onion on everything. Verdict: Barry's for breakfast Mike's for lunch Jamie's for dinner

I've been watching you guys for years now and tonight you inspired me to level up my dinner. I made a pork chorizo and apple burger, and brushed both sides of the bun with garlic butter and seared that in the pan to toast it. To go on top I made a quick fresh tomato salsa and also made mayonnaise from scratch for the very first time - and spiked it with chilli sauce of course 😉 Don't want to toot my own horn but it was definitely the best burger I've ever had. Wellington, New Zealand - where I live. Is currently having its yearly “Wellington on A Plate” competition. Whole bunch of restaurants make a burger and a meal and you go round to different places and eat them for two weeks. Then someone is the winner at the end . I can’t help thinking how much the Sorted guys would love it. It would make such a fun episode for them. (Like their game changers) But alas, New Zealand is too far away :)

What I love about the ultimate 3-way battles and the chef battles is that they show the difference between Chefs and Normals priorities in the kitchen. For Normals it's about variety, trying different things in a more grand way, whilst for Chefs it's more about trying to perfect each part of a dish, because they've already learned what the Normals are learning.
