people should know that most good rappers don't want to rush their albums, they are forced to produce a certain amount of products for their labels and studios. At the end of the day, music is money, studios can't afford to spend millions of dollar signing an artist that makes 2 songs a year. They have to milk that guy as long as he is still famous, good thing Kendrick's label understand his value.

I think he partially feels this way, but also since he's a perfectionist he probably also listens to the album thinking how much it's going to emotionally impact us. Just delivering bars is 'easy', but to paraphrase what what he said to make a kid want to not do something like killing someone seems to be more important to him. Either way, we know whatever is coming will be incredible as a final product.

Searching his name on KZbin at the time then comes one of his songs from his previous works "cut you off" and one of my favorites "cartoons and cereal". The 1st song was great way to tell his plan for the future and what he has do to continue his path to success, I was bit sad that yes cutting off certain people in your life is the answer to your own success story. With the 2nd song it's that feeling with your boys on a car pump into with a message behind it. This is how he introduces me to his world(the hood).
