SOULSEER MIZUTSUNE TIPS & Hunt Gameplay! How To Beat Soulseer Mizutsune In Monster Hunter Stories 2

With the new monster hunter stories 2 update 3 having just dropped! new monsties have been added in like soulseer mizutsune, elderfrost gammoth and oroshi kirin. However soulseer mizutsune is proving to be hard for many people so here is my tips & tricks for soulseer mizutsune in monster hunter stories 2!

Would like to share this with everyone After it get enraged, the pattern is fixed: R1 : Groom > Spiral Claw R2 : Spiral Claw > Spiral Claw R3 : Spiral Claw > Foxflame Bubble R4 : Foxflame Bubble > Blue Moon Also, use Evasion Riff at R3 and R4 to Evade Foxflame Bubble. Just tank Blue Moon, it shouldn't one hit KO the team. Hope this help !

@@benjaminwongminzhe9170 It's the final reward for a chain of sub-quests given by an NPC in Nua Te Village. It's the Copycat quest iirc, you just need to bring a few monstie to show the NPC.

Referring back to this really helps when fighting him. (apart from when your ai partner kinship skills on round 2 and causes you to lose track...)

There’s is interesting way to survive the Blue Moon, if Soulseer is targeting your monstie your partner and your monstie can do the double attack. The reason why I’m saying this because you won’t lose the evasion when using double attack. I hope this tip/trick help you all comments out.

R4 you should just double speed attack to prevent foxflame. No reason to use 35 kinship to prevent what you can do for free. Unless of course someone already has the double covered then the other person should evasion riff to prevent both attacks like Edric posted previously.

Soulseer, like all mizutsune you fight in MH, is male. The only time mizutsune get aggressive toward people, and thus need to be hunted, is during the breeding season when males are aggressive and territorial. Outside of breeding season and females all of the time are docile.

Considering we're the ones hunting it, killing it, and stealing its eggs, I think its safe to assume that gender doesn't matter as we're the monsters attacking and provoking it, forcing it to defend itself. Male or Female, its going to fight back.

@@Netherwolf6100 @Netherwolf6100 not at all, we arent provoking it. The only reason we ever even see a Mizu is cuz a dude is mad horny in the spring or whatever. Because of that they go crazy and need to be put in their place otherwise they'd just fuck everything around them up. Other than that we would never see one. Basically, the only reason we see them is cuz the guys are assholes who start trouble during mating season.

Bubbles. Hey man, thanks for the video, I fought soulseer on my own without knowing any of these tips myself. What I did for the paralysis aspect was I used a bow with the paralysis coating and paralysed her that way (also soulseer is a girl I believe but don’t quote me) but I think that’s enough rambling, great video, I hope you can continue to make more like it

Hope you will make a build for him, because I'm a bit lost what genes i should give him. I want to let him be "himself" as much as possible but on the other hand I want him to be strong. And it doesn't help that most of the Water Genes are Support Genes. Same for Elderfrost but there it's not so bad.

Bubbles Also since you only need Slashing and Blunt weapons you could bring two Hunting horns, One for negating debuffs, and Another for healing+evasion riff or buffing

I've fought him 3 times now and the closest I've gotten to beating him is getting him down to his exhausted state before I get foxfire bubble and blue mooned to oblivion. Ok... Just lost to him again and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm level 66, using fully upgraded kirin armor and greatsword with a Boltreaver Astalos. I have the barioth hunting horn in the works for evasion riff but I'm still struggling. EDIT: OMG I finally beat him. It was touch and go but having an evasion riff hunting horn and surrogate gems really helped ^^;

I need help my co op stupid AI is so stupid it keeps dying towards the end of the fight I really don’t know what to do I am handling the fight well doing max damage and staying always full health but the co op I get sucks so badly I can’t get the fight done it’s frustrating

Those counter bubbles drove me nuts lol. But my red Khezu got him nice and paralyzed. Can't wait to try and get an egg. No luck yet. Also random but I noticed the Quroth AI has a different voice when your rider is male? I have a female rider and Quroth has a girlier voice in my game 🤔

When her hp near death and mad mode, she will double attack with bubbles AOE and blue moon. Watch out with her pattern attack.

Bubble! I must just have crap luck. I get the paralyze on him, but he just keeps attacking me. It doesn't seem to lock him up as much. Oh, and the AI partner keeps messing stuff up and doing their kinship and cancelling my setup double attack.

Soulseer: Infuriating and disappointing at the same time. Infuriating because of the bubble moves. Either counters you and makes you waste 2 turns not being able to HtH, or just potentially kills you outright with the Burn + Chase combo on his final turn in rage mode. Disappointing because his genes are a mess and don't introduce new toys for an element that's rather lacking in options.
