I spent a small fortune on guitars and amps to sound like oasis but I always end up back with a Epiphone hollow body.

Noel is simple but effective guitarist. I like the fact that he's isn't bothered about scales or shredding, the song is all he cares about and compliments with guitar, and gets it done. He recorded Morning Glory in twelve days, there is a lesson in that. It's real easy to say it requires no skill to do something, I have done that too.

Noel Gallagher played an Orange OR120 back in the day with a Rolling Stones lips sticker on it. His suggestions for modifications to the circuit are what were used to create the Orange OTR in the late 90s. Orange are just as important to the early Oasis sound as Marshalls IMO

Yeah you need a cheap marshall (valvestate) that's the key , if money is no object ,then you can have a jcm 900 and a bluesbreaker combined ,for that WTSMG live era ,oh yes you'll need some semi hollow body with mini humbucker... like riviera or sheraton that with frequensator

Remember a similar "challenge" in a well known guitar magazine from back in the day where they concluded that any guitar with humbucker, a transistor amp and a metal master will cover it. Hard to disagree.

Noel did a use a gibson in the early days due to johnny marr and his signature gibson has a tremolo which he does use.But apparently from that good and very close to the oasis 90’s sound.

I have a Yamaha FG Jr. Jr2. I use diadaro lights, if not mediums. Its close to the acoustic side of his music. I haven't watched this video whole yet. To sound like Oasis you gotta tune over 440hz, which means tight strings. Does this video mention this, or the absolute danger of this as you can cut your fingers quite easily, and if you're especially not careful, bust a string? I was wondering mainly because people who aren't ready for it, probably shouldn't try it. 😂
