I was privileged to be at the " R n R 2017 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony "( esp for Pearl Jam ) . It was so nice that Eddie ( or another Pearl Jam member ),had thanked Chris Cornell during their speech . And then last week , the movie " SINGLES " was just on . ( Haven't watched that in like 20 years ) . What is strange is that Chris had become a topic of many discussions this last month . So many memories of that decade ( some lost ) . God Bless you Chris !! Thank you for everything ! You can now jam with Kurt and Scott etc. , etc.

Feeling very Outshined at the moment. Soundgarden is where it all started for Grunge. And Detroit is where the greatest musical voice of our beloved 90s fell silent on this earth (but of course not silent, because their music is epic). Long live freedom, peace, and happiness. And be vocally angry when these things don't happen. That's what it still says to me, but you have to play it loud so that everyone can hear.

RIP Chris. Condolences to his family and friends, including the other guys in the band. I can't imagine how they're feeling today. I wish you had reached out for help, Chris. I hope you have now found peace for eternity. Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free, I’m following paths God made for me I took his hand, I heard him call Then turned, and bid farewell to all I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to sing, to play Tasks left undone must stay that way I found my peace … at close of play And if my parting left a void Then fill it with remembered joy A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened… deep with sorrow I wish you sunshine of tomorrow My life’s been full I’ve savoured much Good friends, good times A loved one’s touch Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee God wanted me now He set me free.

Shane Joseph Yeah, but I mean his stance, it's the same as always. Now we gonna get thousands of ppl who didnt see anything about him in last 10 fucking years and yes, in that case in this video you could see him drunk/stoned/sad or whatever you wanna see, but he was always like that.

Its just like how nobody thought Kurt Cobain was depressed until he killed himself. Then all of a sudden he was always suicidal.
@DerrickRG7 жыл бұрын
Solo Por Que Me Piden Google Mas A lot of people show the telltale signs of depression, it just takes suicide to make those signs obvious. It's hindsight, what we perceived as normal behavior was actually someone pretending everything was okay. Obviously we don't have the details yet, so we're just guessing at this point.

Man.. watching these performances from lastnight, I have to agree with other people.. He seems to have relapsed and probably couldn't deal with the depression generated by knowing he was powerless to addiction. Addiction and depression are often a deadly combo. Nobody is immune to it. Vale Chris Cornell. The various menacing glances he makes toward the camera are very chilling just after he picks up the mic. At 1:18 he stares straight down the barrel and that look is not a happy one. He glares a number of times towards the camera a few times there afterwards. Its like he's trying to tell us something...from beyond the threshold...
