I was privileged to be at the " R n R 2017 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony "( esp for Pearl Jam ) . It was so nice that Eddie ( or another Pearl Jam member ),had thanked Chris Cornell during their speech . And then last week , the movie " SINGLES " was just on . ( Haven't watched that in like 20 years ) . What is strange is that Chris had become a topic of many discussions this last month . So many memories of that decade ( some lost ) . He seems to have relapsed and probably couldn't deal with the depression generated by knowing he was powerless to addiction. Addiction and depression are often a deadly combo. Nobody is immune to it. I know it's speculation, but, the writing is on the wall in these performances. So fucking sad for his family.
