Michael Singer helps us remove our self-made obstacles to spiritual realization and inner freedom.
According to Michael Singer, the only one stopping you from experiencing the heights of divine ecstasy and freedom is you.
In this podcast, he describes the real work of the spiritual path as the process of removing our inner blockages and self-made obstacles in order to uncover the natural states of bliss and spiritual liberation that are our birthright. He also discusses discovering "witness consciousness," the cause of karma, the art of relaxing and releasing resistance to our experience, and more.

I learned this practice by accident. One day in early 2015 we set out to go on vacation. As we drove along my thoughts got outrageous about how fat I was and how awful I will look in a bathing suit. As usual I looked for a distraction. We were driving and I couldn't find anything when all of a sudden I felt a squeezing sensation in my stomach. It was unlike a stomachache yet very painful. Immediately I knew my body ached due to the thoughts I was thinking. I decided to watched the sensation. It moved up into my chest, then my throat. Suddenly my head felt hot and I felt flushed. I let out a sigh and I knew it was over. I immediately knew I would no longer diet and put my body through that pain. After that my instincts heightened and it led me to how to get healthy. Amazing! I still use this practice to this day. Whenever I feel triggered I turn my attention to inside my body and search for any sensations and follow them.

This so true, I can see it know! It’s been my experience how much I have beat up 🤕 on myself thinking everyone is getting what they want and I am the one who is being left out. I now see it’s what I was thinking and believing and then latching on to my story. I am so grateful I have persevered removing the weeds out of my mind to se the light 💡 that was always shining. Keep strong 💪🏼 in watching your mind and choose to raise above what is bordering you in the moment take responsibility for you think is real which isn’t in reality, it’s just a believe just clouds ⛅️ Peace is always kinder

@@sandylucas4279 Great news! I was hoping you'd say that. My mother-in-law and wife & I found the "Primal Diet" in 2019 and are now Carnivore with a little bit of fruit sometimes. The mental and physical bennefits are equal to spiritual awakening. ☺ People in (I guess I'll call it) the spiritual community don't often talk about diet so I was very curious. Thanks for replying! 💖🙏💖 / 💪💖

If you think about 'waking up', you are very far removed from waking up. As you've just created another concept in your mind. When you realise the falling of body and mind, then you will have woken up (very unlike 'woke', which is a huge and dangerous concept for the ego to attach itself to).

Michael Singer would go to the ashram I was at in Salt Springs and he is amazing. He would speak during Yoga Teacher Training sessions. I also read the Surrender Experiment and set an intention to surrender to whatever happened in my life and what a ride it has been. Shortly after I set my intention, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, went blind over night (it was fixable), fell and broke my arm in three places and that set off the worst sciatica attack ever. The most amazing thing is, I was okay with all of that. It all happened within a 6 week period. I have not only been fine through all of this, I was far more than fine. I was really okay with everything that happened, even the mastectomy that happened a few months ago. I refer to this period as a very excellent adventure with breast cancer and it truly has been that. It has been an amazing teaching tool. I will never stop surrendering to what is. You are right when you say it is simple and challenging, but not nearly as challenging as I had my expectations set for. LOL

@stellaknol2273
@stellaknol2273 2 жыл бұрын
@@Mandance I think you dont remove parts of your personality but the traumaeffects on parts of your personality. The triggers not the lessons you learned from it. Once processed, the pain can form a beautifull pearl like a grain of sand in the oyster. You don't need to remove the scar, but relax and observe and choose not to react to the trigger (from the past) and if I understood well from dr Singer talk each time you let the trigger be and pass by, without suppressing inside or fixing outside. You gain extra power for your seat of consciousness and life flow energy. But its a ongoing process this is the worrying part for me: one time mistake and all your progress is lost on that area. Time to start again.

Super important not to get stuck in guilt and self recriminations now. Just remember how this feels and learn from it (as you already have!) and don't beat yourself up. Also, remind yourself that you went 3 whole years with just 1 temporary fall. Unless you're in AA, you don't have to have the mindset of starting all over again. You made a choice that didn't serve you well but you learned from it and are back on track. In 6 years you can say I went 6 whole year with only one stumble. As my mom has always said, "All our mistakes are simply stepping stones on our path and we can either get stuck in guilt and beat ourselves up relentlessly, OR realize they're there to help us to see clearly what we don't want to do next time. Experience is the best teacher.

I have to agree. I never got the “pain body” stuff. Singer is more direct, and his teachings make more sense to me and give me something actionable versus “don’t think”, which just leaves me thinking about not thinking which turns into beating myself up because I’m still thinking. Still love me some Eckhart, though, just more for a spiritual and philosophical bent.

I have thought this so many times! With my oldest son I didn't know any of this when he was young, so he's having to learn it now in young adulthood, but my youngest is learning along with me these past few years and it's been amazing to see him grasp it and put it to work. He just started grade 8 this year and we have often wished his friends and really, everyone, could have the opportunity to learn these things. He shares little things at times when his friends are going through something, but neither of us think that preaching to others is the way to do it. Wish it was part of the curriculum.

I just started listening to his videos recently. I can relate when he says I never feel good in my skin and I just want to feel peace and joy inside. I’ve been looking and knowing this for many years looking for peace within without having anything outside happen! Just to have that feeling of peace within no matter what. Listening to these videos has changed my life already. Most of my life I have been depressed because of insomnia and migraines . I thought it was from Food that I was eating and I think it still is, but it also has to do with other things as well. I feel like a different person in many ways right now. Although I’m still working on the food thing, I’ve had a Food Addiction, my whole life, using food for comfort and not being able to stop eating sugar like a drug addict. But I have learned to let go of so many things right now like this emotional baggage that I carried … I was sexually abused for 10 years for my stepfather, and then my parents were murdered. I had much trauma when I was younger that I think I just couldn’t let go. I feel because of this I have chronic insomnia, since I was young that I hardly ever sleep at all and that has ruined my life. But now I feel different … I am appreciating every moment and looking at things very differently. I still have a lot to work on as I have a lot of pain in my body. I am wondering if he advocates any type of diet? I go from eating THE SAD diet to a clean Raw Vegan diet / back-and-forth my whole life trying to stay on the raw diet because it does help me with all my physical problems. But I just can’t stay on it because I feel addicted to cooked foods. When I fast on water or juice, I feel like a different person just not being bogged down with the food. Anyhow, I’m just really happy to have found this and wanna go visit Micheal in Florida to hear him speak there. !! ❤🙏❤️🥰

Michael Singer is the first who makes out of meditation something so easy and normal. Many others are describing the ways of meditation that when you start to do it, you feel immediately guilty thinking about how bad you are in this stuff and loose totally interest in trying again.

Thank you Michael. Twice at deepest meditation I became at one with the one... In that state of consciousness I became convinced that I was omnipotent. I spent some time thinking about what I would change in the universe. After an eternity the answer came: the universe is absolutely perfect any change would make it less perfect. Thats why we have to work at it since from point of view of the Devine, Guru, Ultimate Reality it needs no change.

I love Michael and his teachings. I've read both of his books. I disagreed some aspects to his books those many years ago, and I also disagree with him in some respect now. "Letting go" I have done it my way and it works better. I was sexually abused by my father from 12 until I turned 15, oh sorry, I know Michael will say that I'm emptying my garbage into the world. That's not true! I'm sharing my story so that we can be aware of what happens when we stay 'unconscious' I go to schools to teach safe and unsafe secrets. If I was warned of my father by those who abused before me, I wouldn't have been abused. Joyce Meyer shares her story all the time, lives are restored and they are healed ❤🙏, knowing that they are not alone. If she simply "let it go" and told no one, she would not touch so many lives. I have also inspired and transformed lives by sharing my story too. So, Michael I love you but "Letting go" will not work if we all have Amygdala, hippocampus and other aspects to our brain. It is impossible to understand the brain, Michael's life experience is different and unique like all of us. He couldn't have gone to live in isolation if he had a family, so Letting go is not always practical. I am healed, I interviewed my father and I have forgiven him, knowing that it was his " pain body" ( adopted by Eckhart Tolle) that did to me what he did. I am getting to my self Realisation stage but this is the final stage, you have to go through all stages to get there. Without a sense of belonging, you will not get there. Oprah shares her story to inspire too. We need to share and not simply let go into thin air. We would simply be reinventing the wheel of pain.

You let go of the emotion, the feeling that comes up when triggered. Just allow that stuck energy to work itself out without creating a story in your mind, complete focus on the feeling, surrender to it, let it be without trying to change it nor push it away, just !eh it be. Sharing the wisdom you have gained from your experience is wonderful and can help many people so totally do that but you are the only one who can surrender to repressed emotions and we can't do it for another either, point the way yes but actually healing it no, that's up to each individual to do when they are ready. So keep sharing your experience and keep letting go of your emotions, teach others how to let go of their repressed energy so if your story triggers them they can resolve it and in that way your sharing is highly beneficial to others.

There are issues within ourselves AND outside ourselves. We can deny the problems of the world but such denial gets domestic violence survivors murdered, & stalking survivors murdered. I am ALL for looking inside. But I am realizing that only looking inside has allowed the perpetrators of our reality to flourish, and even takeover.

When I hit myself on the toes, I noticed the build up of energy- before turning into pain. I had learned to relax at that very moment, which helped handle what was to come next. No fuss, no cuss- and the pain soon went away. Although I have had decades of meditation experiences, I thought I knew how to handle my "stuff" until the recent break-up. By letting go of the bad experiences, I was able to re-center myself , as mentioned by Mr. Singer's teaching, and come back to myself, and feel this (Inner) Peace..... Thank you! I recommend this teaching to everyone on the Spiritual path.

So I've been working in a covid ICU, worked hospice prior to that, struggling with the death that I've seen. I like how you describe the difference between stuffing it and dealing with it. As far as dealing with it, I think he means actually experiencing the pain as it comes not detaching from it. That's the only thing that has helped me regain my sanity and feel that internal healing. Negativity does give a degree of energy as long as others are doing it too, but it gets worse as it goes. Experiencing and dealing with the pain improves as things progress.
