❤ Agreed. Brookey...girl is an amazing moma. Im 51. And i have 4 kids. 3 boys 1 girl. I taught my boys to cook too. Their dad taught them to love to grill. 2 boys are married now. They are amazing cooks. They both cook for wives. One is in Army, and he is the best cook. Other is an inspector of FDIC...peanut inspector and some other agricultural stuff. He is my only child with a child. He cooks for his family. His wife is a great cook too but she is a nurse Practitioner in ER, she works long 12hr shifts. So my son cooks. It makes me so proud. 😊❤😊

I love watching young children learning to cook. My son had his own cooking utensils by age 5. I bought him plastic coated knives. I taught him how to read at age 3 , with the A to Z cook book for kids. He became a Hard Rock chef at age 21. Cooking helps children to get excellent taste buds . I think Colin made a delicious meal. Wonderful teaching kiddo to cook. I was laid up for 1 year+ from an accident and husband had to be out if the country. Talked him through cooking. He was willing and now he is almost middle aged and can cook/bake/make almost anything.

So glad to see you teach your boys to cook for themselves! I taught my two stepsons to do short order cooking (eggs, hamburgers, etc.); their mother wouldn't teach them (they might make a mess in her kitchen 🙄). As my mom didn't teach me either, for much the same reason, I was determined not to send them out in the world as clueless as I was about cooking. Thanks to girl friends, I learned the basics and figured out the rest. It's such an injustice not to equip kids for the real world. Good job, Kylen! 👍

I got a little nervous when he was working with the hot oil but you were right there guiding him every step of the way and he did a great job. He was afraid it was going to pop. Its amazing how much Ryder helps and guides Kylen throughout the day. It makes us both very proud because we'll walk up, turn a corner or overhear Ryder being an awesome mentor to Kylen quite often. Breydon is the sports guy, he helps teach Kylen and gives pointers to Ryder on sports, helping improve technique on everything from how to get a perfect spiral throwing a football to how to retrieve a specific type of fishing lure. They take instruction from each other very well and work together, passing learned information to one another.
