That guy in the military is either insane or being cheeky. I served in the Navy in the 90's. One of the first things you learn in basic training is you can very much be arrested off base for your actions and the military does not intervene. To make matters worse, being in the military is the one place that double jeopardy can apply. You get arrested by the civilian police and the military let's them have a go at you and when that's over, the military can prosecute you for the same thing all over again!

Hey Mike, one low tech solution to the audio volume disparity, might be to simply sit further away from your mic when showing a vid with low volume. If your audio software has an auto volume feature, disable it and then sit back from the mic so those of us watching don't turn up our volumes to hear rhe proceedings, and then get blown out of rhe room when you speak. If a person who has a Diplomatic Passport ( the real thing, not the SovCit fairytales) the person can be detained and even arrested, however the person has the right to contact their Embassy. It is then up to the Embassy of said citizen to contact the US State Department. Only the US State Department has the authority to acknowledge or disallow diplomatic immunity and intervene in the Judicial Process. I have witnessed this in person.
