“Michigan [ as in many states] issues two types of driver's licenses: operator and chauffeur. An operator's license is what most residents mean when they use the term "driver's license." An operator's license allows you to drive passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks with a gross vehicle weight rating capacity of less than 26,000 pounds.” So if he says he is not driving but operating, he should have an operators license ?

One of the signs they don't fully believe the crap they're saying. The script is practiced. They are repeating the magic words they read online. If they genuinely believed it they could slow down and explain each point they are trying to make. Possibly reword it or use examples or analogies to more clearly explain themselves. They'd still be wrong. But at least they'd sound less like a meth addict, 3-4 days into a burn.

If you're in control of a car, you're driving and need a licence. 3) if you dont have a licence, your insurance will be invalidated. 4) it is inherrently dangerous to DRIVE (you're not travelling. We're past that) with headphones on... in some places its illegal.

"Traveling not driving." No one ever, ever, ever wins this argument. The right to travel means you can walk or be driven from one state to another without being taxed. These SovCits have no idea what that are talking about. The federal government does not legislate driving; that has been left up to the individual states.

Sort of. At the time, you'd have horse-drawn carriages, and the driver was the guy making the horses move - "to drive" meaning "to cause to move by force." I don't think we had as many laws about that sort of driving, though, because you couldn't whip a horse hard enough to make it go 120 mph and explode on impact.

In Arizona, if you fail to maintain your vehicle insurance, or even change your insurance company such that it creates a time gap in coverage, the MVD is automatically alerted. And if they are alerted and the driver doesn't immediately rectify the lack of insurance coverage, the MVD can suspend your license after a given amount of time, having notified you of such.

Script should be just a paper that refutes all their sovshit BS and then they put stop stips under their tires and ask them for their license, insurance, and registration no more than 3 times, the third time is break window, taser mercilessly, and arrest. If they are recording, seize as evidence or Chuck that shit as hard as you can away from the car so they stop trying to pontificate to their stupid KZbin channel. The end.

LEOs need to ask "yes or no" questions. Example: "Yes or no, are you going to hand me your driving licence?" Anything other than "yes" followed by the presentation of a driving licence is obstruction of an inquiry. I don't see any court failing to support an LEO who questions and reacts to a stalling answer and/or reaction along those lines or similar.

@@davesmith9680 The federal government undertook interstate commerce to end the bickering and fighting between the states and prevent the tariffs, permits, etc. This was enlarged to include motor freight when the trucks, trains, and planes came along. And the federal government still sets the standards and regulations today for commercial traffic. I am a retired truck driver, and all the rules and regulations are set by the feds, although the states are allowed to run the licensing and inspections. The federal government had no interest in controlling non-commercial motor vehicles, so that defaulted to the states via the tenth amendment.

It's a pitch one of the Moorish groups uses. If you lost your license because of X it doesn't matter because the state doesn't have the power to require you to have one in the first place. They also can't require you to pay back taxes, child support, etc if you aren't a citizen. They sell it as a big "Get out of jail free" scam. Just send money along with the appropriate forms and you become a free person! There's a video of one guy who sold a bunch of these. He's responding to people who complained that they still had their car (vessel/conveyance) towed and were arrested. He pointed out that people weren't filling out the forms fully or correctly, so there's nothing he can do. He complained about people (who he ripped off) being too stupid to fill out two pages of answers.

These officer have the patience of saints to endure this literal insanity. Back in the day, they'd just hand you the ticket or cuff you and they'd just reply, "Yeah yeah, tell it to the judge," and you have to wonder why they don't say that anymore, just to end these silly arguments

@@je_suis_le_canard you are sadly probably correct. In the UK a driving licence means you have passed your driving test required for operating complicated mechanical machinery on specific UK roads - from Wiki 'A driving test consists of three sections: theory, hazard perception and a supervised driving examination. Until this test has been passed, a driver may hold only a provisional licence[7] and is subject to certain conditions.' I grew up in Orkney Islands and on the island i lived on had only B & C roads and therefore I was legally permitted to drive without a FULL uk licence just my provisional as long as the car had insurance. I could NOT have passengers however.
