I never thought saffron would be a pantry staple in my kitchen. On the surface, so many of the spanish dishes you present are humble; smalll variations on my beloved italian cucina povera..but in many cases better. Your potato stew with saffron and poached eggs... Unbelievable: a 7 year old almost fell out of his chair. If the WHO could promote your playlist to the planet 90% of the healrh issues we experience would evaporate overnight. Gracias!

Oh man... i live in a household containing carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. I used this recipe once for dinner. Everybody loved it so much, i've had to make it 4 more times!!!! So, thanks to you, this dish is now permanently on the cooking roster. EVERYBODY loves it. Thank you so much. Once... thanks to a glut of spring onion in the garden, i incorporated that too... please try it... just fantastically sweet. Again... thank you for making me so popular with my victims... i mean housemates :) Great recipe .... 10/10... Now... if only i can find inexpensive saffron! Not gonna happen... but sooooo worth the money. Thanks, man.

Just like risotto, Spanish round rice is not cooked with a lid, always in an open flame, as it helps the rice keep its texture while cooking :) Much love

Believe me! in Spain vegetarian recipes come from USA The only authentically Spanish thing in this recipe is the strumming of the guitar at the beginning of the video... the rest is as iconically fake as a Loewe handbag... made in China. I am surprise you don’t know how to use saffron 😢 I as a Persian with a best saffron in the world ( most expensive too). We learn from child hood we grind the saffron and soak it in a couple spoon of water ( some do cold some hot ) we grind a whole package and keep it in fridge and soak a pinch or two for the meal we are cooking . I thought you should know this is the best way to get the color out of it 🤷🏼♀️
