Yahoooo!! I'm from Spain too and loooove enseimadas. Fun fact: here in Spain when we talk about princess Leia's buns, we say she has enseimadas on her ears XD.

In the Philippines they eat this with Kraft brand canned cheese. Strangely delicious.

Here in the Philippines, it's usually served with a margarine on top and sprinkled with shredded cheese... YUMMY!

The dough turned out really sticky so I had to add more flour. Also, I managed to make only six rolls from it. I wonder if I made any mistake when preparing the dough.

Maybe you used too much milk or the egg is bigger than normal but it's alright to add a little flour if your dough is too sticky

This is not Ensamada. A: Ensamada should contain Olivr oil for the dough. B: Ensamada needs to be rolled so thinly you can read through it, brushed with butter then rolled back up and baked.

these look like Mallorcas, a breakfast roll made in Puerto Rico; the best way to eat them is slice them in half, put a little butter in and put them on a grill for just a few minutes, yum!

Thats because they are tipically made in Mallorca, an spanish island.

thanks for sharing this recipe, but the bread is not soft and tasty, I don' t know why. I measure all ingredients on the scale and knead about 30 minutes.

Zeinab Abdelaal Titli said knead for 10 minutes. Over kneading will affect the result.
