Can you feel anything else than happy after watching this :-) Thank you so much! This is again really helpful, especially with all the examples. I was wondering about the sentence structure of the last example ... is this a typical way of expressive the passive in Malay? From a European language point of view it feels a bit unfamiliar that there seems to be no equivalent of "by" in the Malay formulation ("by all her friends" is simply written as "all her friends" after the disenangi). Or is disenangi an adjective and the "all her friends" is additional information to the adjective? Not sure what the grammatical logic here is ... But anyway, looking forward to the next lesson! :-)

Hello! Thank you watching and the lovely comment as always. And to answer your question, I honestly don't know if it's necessary in formal Malay or not. This one will have to be answered by your professional Malay tutor. I only know that in informal Malay, it's perfectly fine to skip the word by (which is oleh in Malay). So in formal Malay, it should be 'Dia disenangi oleh semua kawan-kawannya'. But I feel as if I have seen a formal text where the author opted out of using oleh. BUT I MIGHT BE WRONG. Sorry can't be as helpful in this respect. Maybe when you find your answer, you can share with me :D
