CORRECTION: At 14:10, I categorised 'Tarian' as an adjective. It should be a noun (and not a verb either, I was so sleepy when I tried correcting myself last night). Thanks to gadda-da-vida for pointing it out. For reference: Tari: Dance (Root word and noun) Tarian: Dance (Noun) (Will update difference in a bit). Menari: Dancing (Verb)

Another great video(teaching Malay via songs is actually really good!) It's fun, it's educational, and it can get very deep as we can see. I do have a comment on "Gayaku berangka" though, I feel like they are singing about numbers, since it's spelled Berangka instead of Berrangka for structures and frames. Style numbers do exist in design or fashion industry, which is used as standards. So I think what they're trying to say with "Gayaku berangka"is "My style has numbers" or more like "My style has standards". That's just my opinion anyway ^^ but it can be taken in many different ways too obviously. As far as suggestions for songs, I know I mentioned it before, but I think Hijau by Zainal Abidin would be a good song to learn(especially the bahasa kelate portion LOL). Thanks again Lisa for this.

2:30 tiga satu lima sudah lama ku tunggu, well a lot of people don't know this number 315- but for me it is 3.15 or tiga suku. Tiga suku can be translate to bodoh. So... that what I think.

Ahh.. You came back with another one..Great! Now you'd skipped delving into the details... Its fine with last one though. Finally I got to go deep into the lyric as I normally don't bother so much what they were uttering...just listening to the song. This time you'd made me understand each and every word and sentence. Can see all the efforts you'd made particularly the references made to all the books at your disposal to explain more clearly. Btw isn't 'tarian' a noun instead of a verb? 'tari' is a verb... Well I might be wrong
@sierralisse88973 жыл бұрын
Omg I was so sleepy last night, two mistakes in a row!! You're right it's a verb, not a noun. Thank you for pointing that out. Thank you for your lovely comment :D I'm always happy when people comment on my effort hehe.
