SPEARFiSH Canyon STURGIS / POV MOTORCYCLE RIDE

I took this route on my way from Albuquerque headed to Michigan for the summer after getting out of the Navy in 97....rode my ZX-11 and was the only sport bike I think in the whole state. Was exactly one week before the rally...I can't express how imprinted in my mind that day of riding through Spearfish and all around the Black Hills is for me! Someday I will take it once again....thanks for sharing bro. You livin life great to see it! Rubber side down...

Hubby and I are going to Sturgis for the first time, this year (2020). Unfortunately, we have to trailer the bikes cuz we are a bit older; and are coming from Arizona! We are super excited! We have watched a lot of your videos and are looking forward to riding a lot of these beautiful roads! Thanks so much for sharing your adventures with us. A special thank you for doing so much for out Veterans. My husband served 10 years in the Air Force and now volunteers at the DAV helping disabled Veterans. Rode this highway one week ago today and when I close my eyes I can still hear the roar of the bikes and feel the constant sensation of dropping lower and lower into the canyons. Thanks for the awesome share! Keep up the great work !

I was born and raised in Rapid City. We rode dirt bikes on this highway. Parts of the rode was dirt in spots. This was back in the early 60’s.

You have some beautiful roads, not to technical which makes the riding enjoyable. Our roads are not as well constructed but the scenery is great for a small country. Done 3 tours in US and Canada and loved every mile. You gotta do a blog on Mt Evans in Colorado...awesome canyons and not a bad little hill...

I love the lights!! I decked out Deadpool with rear bag lights, plasma rods in between the bags, ciro machete bag lights, and also had my bag reflectors changed out to led lights (from HD). also changed all other lighting to LED. gotta have lighting! love the ride. You post this on our 15 year crash-aversary. We were scheduled to get married at Bridal Veil falls but crashed outside Rapid City. Met the outstanding staff at Rapid City Regional hospital. We got married the following day at the falls, the Mrs on crutches. Life is an adventure.
