@@doja7865 Sounds like someone doesn't know how Dragonball works...lol. especially since Super came along. These characters are ALWAYS getting stronger and stronger. Hell, as early on as the early Android Saga even humans like Krillin and Yamcha were at least stronger than Final Form Frieza was against SSJ Goku on Namek. And Super has had some of the most astronomical increases in power for these characters EVER. Piccolo absolutely WITHOUT A DOUBT is unfathomably stronger than any Buu ever was during the Buu Saga in Z.

I really love Special Beam Cannon. Even though it does have a pretty simple design. It does look so freaking awesome. Considering that it can kill pretty much anyone if Piccolo wants to kill them. The Destructo Disk can do the same thing, but the special beam cannon just looks so much better to me.

My second favorite video along with “Can Namekians break their limits?” Piccolo’s makankosappo never gets old. It’s still a fun technique to watch along with the Hellzone grenade. Wish the Light Grenade was brought up once more. The only time we ever Piccolo do that technique was against imperfect Cell. Anyways, thanks for doing this video.

2:18 This is why I love me some Dragon Ball/Z. Goku beats him, spares him, and this demon decides to take that lesson and develop a technique specifically made to kill the guy that showed him mercy. Then you go deeper. After literally doing what he set out to do all those years ago. He takes Goku's place. He's the strongest on earth, he takes Goku's son, and even steps up to defend the earth. In some alternate reality if Goku never spared Piccolo; then him, Krillin and Gohan beat Raditz. Goku would've been standing there against the Saiyans right where Piccolo was. By fixiating on killing the hero and fulfilling his desire he wittingly forced himself into that main character role to the point where (like Goku) he died to protect Gohan and the planet from their common enemy. Thanks for reminding me why I love this show 😂

I love the basic obvious logic of it, when it comes to a stronger person. Simply because, if you focus more energy/force on a smaller spot, you do a hell of a lot more damage. Like a rapier piercing easier than a blunt object. Naturally, you can block or overpower it.

It's meant to pierce through, and that's what makes it more dangerous that a most normal blast or concussive attack in dragonball logic. In terms of kill power, we saw Krillen cut Frieza's tail off and he was vastly weaker, granted it was by surprise, but it shows a possible surprise snipe from one of these on Namek should have been able kill Frieza too.

I don't know if it was intended but it seems like piccolo came up with a technique to go through goku chest to kill him the same way goku punched through demon king piccolos chest and killed him. Also goku uses a Ki blast to propel himself towards the demon king and then coats his fist in Ki energy to be able to punch through him i.e. two ki techniques much like the special beam canon.

Hi Geekdom. I've been a fan for a few years. Your views on DB have always resonated with me more so then most other KZbinrs and I always look forward to a new upload. I was curious about your opinion on Toei's transition between Z to Super. I love a lot about Super and feel like they created some interesting lore and iconic moments in the series for sure. But there is a lot I feel they got wrong as well. In particular, the characterization of Goku. In Z, I feel like you can tell Goku's experience and wisdom. When Vegeta, Gohan and Krillin were fighting Racoom on Namak, Goku arrives at the knick of time. Krillin tries to explain what happened, but Goku calmly just places his hand on Krillin's head, reading his mind. When Krillin asked how he did that, he responds "I don't know, I just thought it would work." I feel like even then Toriyama was trying to show that Goku is reaching a level of godly strength and maturity, even if Goku still plays naive or aloof. It's hard to show more examples in a comment, but you just feel in his aura that he is always in control and wise to what is going on around him. In Super, I can feel Toei back peddle Goku's characterization in order to give him room to grow once again. Hence the "Stupid Super Goku" that fans talk about. In my opinion, Toei just took it too far. It's hard for me to even see this man as the same character as the Goku in Z. I was wondering if this bothered you too? I feel like it would be an interesting video comparing Goku from Z to Super, and would love to hear your thoughts.

Also when power is densed up it becomes deadlier because of it being more concentrated. Densed up power becomes stronger and that's a rule of packing a bigger punch with less energy. Furthermore this rule applies to real life as well.

I'm surprised Geekdom didnt mention how it broke straight through the barrier that was put up around the arena when Piccolo fought Frost from Universe 6. Also one thing i want to point out is that while Piccolo and Goku were weaking than Raditz by around 800, they by no means were comparable in strength or Ki. Because both of them had a power level of around 400-500 whereas Raditz was confirmed at least 1200. This means at bare minimum The Special Beam Cannon is capable of killing an opponent roughly 2.2x the strength/ki of the user, assuming it is charged properly and hits a vital area like the head, heart, or center mass.

After mastering the skill, Piccolo still can spend time to charge up the special beam cannon to become more powerful. I wonder if he could have killed Nappa if Tenshinhan, Kuririn and Chiaotzu distract Nappa while he charge up the special beam Cannon. When Piccolo fought Raditz, his battle power was 400+ but with special beam cannon, his battle power increased to 1300+.

The Special Beam Cannon is actually one of those moves that gets stronger the more Piccolo charges it. We actually see the difference in the Tournament of Power when he and Gohan are fighting the Universe 6 Namekians. A partially-charged Special Beam Cannon just burns one of the Namekian's bellies, while the attack at full power impales both Namekians.

The moment I seen this technique for the first time I absolutely loved it. Yes the charge time on it is a down side but if you're in a situation where you have somebody covering your ass it can be devistating, when I seen it for the first time when it went through Raditz AND Goku's chest I lost my mind! It is a Gamma Ray he is spinning energy to induce a reaction, Just like with an electro magnet. And if you notice there is lightning coming off of it that is intentional. He is doing everything he can to imply this is a gamma radiation ray. And he is calling it The Devil Light Beam, even that is a reference to a gamma ray. The truth is it got censored so they don't translate it or they call it special Beam cannon. And that's why naive Superman wankers don't believe, how powerful DBZ fighters get.

I don't know if you've made a video about destroying planets, but can you explain how it's done? For example. Back in early Z, Saiyan Saga Vegeta could destroy planets effortlessly. But Krillin during Buu saga I believe wouldn't be able to achieve the same feat despite probably having a higher power level than Saiyan Saga Vegeta. Do you think in most cases it depends on the nature of the attack instead of how powerful someone is?

Watching Old DBZ shows and I can’t help but wonder what determines a beings ability to withstand an attack? Piccolo and Cell would at times get their arms or stomachs blown off and many times saiyans can show they can withstand a punch or kick but are more cautious with energy blast. Is there an explanation for this? Also how is it that someone can withstand a blast (I get it they are stronger) but all the sudden their clothes can withstand it too?? Thank you!!!

Piccolo has one accolade over the other Z fighters who were enemies/rivals despite to Goku being an assist, and that's killing his rival, including the first enemy of DBZ, Raditz with the SBC that he even said he was going to take out Goku with, which he accomplished.
