This is still one of my favorite movies, just never gets old. You can really watch this masterpiece over and over again. The tension, the emotions and effects are brilliant. Also each role is played so well. Just a banger of a movie, even to this day.

Speed is one of my all time favourite films and one of my favourite films of the 90s (a great era for cinema) as a I’m 90s kid myself. It’s unbelievable that it’s now 30 years old, but Speed was and still is a great film for it’s time which holds up to this day. Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock had wonderful chemistry together as Jack & Annie. Plus the late great Dennis Hopper was phenomenal as Howard Payne. All done with realistic practical effects, stunts and explosives instead of CGI that you see today’s films and although Speed isn’t technically a Car Chase film, but it definitely had more heart and soul than all the Fast & Furious films.

When I first watched this I loved it but hated Keanu’s acting. The more I have rewatched it I love him in it and his part. He doesnt play the stereotypical cop like Dirty Harry in this movie. He plays him like a regular guy trying to do his best in a troubling situation and he does wonderfully in it. I may have laughed at him at first but Keanu’s acting in this the older I get is superb because he isn’t afraid to play a human with a police badge. Keanu I may have bagged you in the past but you were great in this and many more and you have proved you’re a great actor and human being. Enough to turn this former cynic into a lifelong fan and I am. Keep up the good work buddy! Hollywood and our world needs more actors and human beings like you.

Throughout the movie i keep feeling nervous watching all the intense scenes but somehow i feel calm at the same time when jack reassure all passengers with his calming voice.. If i was one of the passengers i would feel a little bit in ease even tho my life are on the line.. And it breaks my heart when jack went into a breakdown😭 i can feel his frustrated feeling.. Gosh Keanu really did a great job potraying Jack Traven! One of the finest action movie ever exist! (Sorry for my bad english😂, its not my first language)

"Interactive TV, Jack. Wave of the future." This quote by Dennis Hopper's character proved to be so prophetic. 21st century and here we are with KZbin & a Comments Section. Taking interaction with our Television to a whole new level. Terrific film. Best action film of 1994. I would watch it with my family almost every time it showed up on TV along with another cult actioner The Rock (1996) during the early 2000s. Would have loved it though had Tommy Lee Jones played Dennis Hopper's part.
