@@tylerhicks621 I'm not sure it's _as_ true for CMLL. in Kian's CMLL algs, he has usu. 3-4 options that he recommends, and one in bold that he says to learn first. sorry if you already know all this. so, I haven't gone through and counted, but I'm pretty sure that the majority are inverses or mirrors. I learned inverses (more or less) in order to do setup for practice, but that was usually just figuring out which ones to practice together. I didn't always go with the ones he most recommended, but almost none of my algs come from another source. now, if you have better algs than Kian's, please let me know where to go to look them up.

For Cmll I just have to pretend the edges are in a certain orientation, then the corners are just an oll case. I don't have to look at any corner colour except for yellow, but Shawn was looking at wierd adjacent stuff, and then did a tperm or y perm to permit the corners, but still I feel like it's still easy
@SpeedCubeReview
@SpeedCubeReview 4 жыл бұрын
I never do Y or J perm unless it's a Y or J perm with all corners oriented. The adjacent colors has to do with identifying which CMLL case it is.

@SpeedCubeReview

You can do it just as fast with the left hand as well in the back. If Someone feels they can not do it faster with one hand over the other, then that hand needs to be trained more.

Using both hands is not good because of regrips you need to have a dominant hand to do all ur algs. This is why learn all my algs righty

The idea of regrips doesn't really hold. The amount you would do with one hand isn't much more at all and can actually cause people to do less efficient all's in the end.

@CrazyForCubes

It does help. Cll is for 2 by 2, and the algs are not for 3 by 3. But, if you do cll, then you will be used to the corner permutation recognition. So you will have to learn new algs, but the recognition is the same, so it does help if you already know cll

@scruffysz 4 жыл бұрын

@SpeedCubeReview
@SpeedCubeReview 4 жыл бұрын
The F2L of Roux will be around 22 moves and for CFOP it's 30. COLL is more moves than CMLL, often by more than double. L6E is also able to be fewer moves than L4E of CFOP. If you do do CFOP F2L, and then COLL you are already being less efficient, and then you would need to mess up the already solved DF and DB edges. It's just making CFOP harder to look ahead or making Roux less efficient.
