1) Spencer definitely deserves his respect. He's not a superstar, but he put that Dallas team over the top. Everyone lost their minds when the Mavs traded Porzingis for "basically nothing", but he was exactly what they needed and they made the conference finals. 2) I died when they talked about the technicals. It's funny cause it's true.

Mavericks fan. Spencer is an exceptional player, and a truly great guy (crucial for a winning culture). The Mavs style of play - give the ball to our playmakers (Luka, Spencer, Brunson, Kyrie) and everyone else do what they do (rebound, shoot, cut, defend) - was a perfect fit for his game and it showed as we went to the WCF for the first time since 2011. Hopefully Spencer has a fantastic season - along with DoDo (DFS)!

As a dallas mavs fan i wish Spencer the best of luck,success and health because he really deserves it! In last 4-5y (since Luka joined team) every trade front office made was massive L! He was only bright spot in that whole mess. I'll admit at first I was not thrilled that we are getting pennies on the dollars for KP because that included Bertans and we just continued to be dumping place for the 8 figures contracts nobody wants. but the way he played and how much he help the team I don't think that people of Dallas have nothing but the love for him! I mean even right now I wish him and the Brooklyn Nets all the best because I think right now they have a really really nice team!
