Spend CHRISTMAS Morning With Me!!

Today was a hard day but a good day at the same time. My beautiful great granddaughter who is 8 months was here and the joy of her giggle was so joyful. It was a tough couple of days. My childhood friend of almost 70 years passed away suddenly on Sunday. I was able to be with her at her passing. The loss is just so hard. But God was merciful to her. Her dementia was getting worse and she would not have wanted to linger during its progression.

My brother passed similarly at the time his dementia was progressing, so while it was a sad time for us, I was glad that he did not have to suffer longer with the effects of the disease. May God send you peace and love to help you through this difficult time.

Today was special. For the first time in many long years my dad and I shared Christmas with a couple of friends in our home. I was so nice to have laughter and fun conversation filling our little home. May God bless you and your family.🤗💖🐝

Thats a beautiful way to endear family in your home. If you dont have doilies like that then you can buy the fake ones at Dollar Tree if I want to do that too, is what Id do. We had a fellowship dinner at Church together. Our pastor and his wife said they didnt want to just have a meal with their families but also their Christian Family. It was wonderful and we had a blessed church service. I love your spirit sissy. Lord bless you and Kenny tremendously!❤❤❤

But today has been hard, as I truly miss my husband so much. I know he's with the Lord, but I get lonely some days, especially the holidays. You always seem to know what to say. 🎄Merry Christmas Tessie 🎄 I hope you had a Blessed time i have had a rough one my first cousin that I was raised right next door to me the one who always came to play with me and watch after me she caught the flu and passed away this past Monday her funeral will be Friday it just doesn't seem real . I'm just frozen in time remembering everything we use to do and even into adults she was last of my immediate family so I'm really alone . I do rejoice in knowing she is with the Lord and with her mom and dad and brother plus so many more grandparents grandchildren aunts and uncles. Thank you for doing these videos 💞

Merry Christmas Tessie. I've watched you now for the second time today. It was so precious to hear. You are a very special human being Tessie, and I sincerely mean that. Your heart is always looking to help or heal someone's difficulties. My day was quiet as well. My family celebrated Christmas Eve day with us, and it was fun. However, my mind and heart throughout the day thought about the many people who were spending it alone. My heart was heavy at times because of this. Then today, I listened to your video, and the reminder that Jesus is with us all even when we feel we are alone was strengthening. We don 't know what the future holds for anyone of us, but to know we can depend on Jesus to give us strength comfort, and calmness when we need it, was very good to hear again. I love hearing the story of christmas past. My grandmother told me her favorite christmas was a homemade doll,one orange pure child,and some chocolates. Very simple during a hard time in history. My favorite christmas was getting my very own record player. I miss gathering with cousins and family members who are with the Lord. Christmas is a wonderful time of reflection.

Merry Christmas, Tessie! I've been told about the Great Depression and my parents both got a new sock with the other inside it. And some pieces of fruit, they didn't get any during the year. Their meals were still the same that day. A piece of some kind of meat from their animals and a chicken egg. Dinner was, as always, cornbread and warm buttermilk from the cow they each had. What a beautiful message. It never ceases to amaze me how listening to you describe yourself even loving old things as a child and nostalgia is like hearing someone describe myself. The only difference is you have had a happy home that you grew up in, a Christian base home and I did not. But I have Christ in my life and a home with a husband who loves me based in Christ in God.
