Hi Vahchef.. cooking in oil is not bad.frying in oil is bad as oil loses its properties at high heat. Its actually the rice, roti (carbohydrates) that makes us put on weight.

Yes my friend i suffer with high blood pressure,i have cut down on my salt,you can always add a bit of lo salt or normal sprinkle after it is cooked.yes it does look watery but all you have to do is thicken the curry gravy to your liking.I suppose it is a cheap and easy way of having a nice curry add more spices green peppers and red peppers comon the ingredients are endless for a curry bit like a good british stew.

Thank you for making cooking so simple. I have been delaying learning cooking for 5 years and now once I actially started to put effort through your videos, I am loving it! One question I have for this is, I do not have a pressure cooker. How long do we need to cook it if we are doing it the normal way?

Sebastian... Vahchef is an awesome chef. I have been cooking his recipes for three years and everyone turned out to be great. Now thats a great talent. He is better than world famous chefs like Jamie oliver or sanjeev kapoor. So dont call him a idoit cos he got a big fan like us.

well browning the meat before cooking makes the meat more tender. when the meat is sealed in really hot oil, the meat forms a seal out side which prevents the juice from coming out of the meat.

What was that powder you added after the Coriander powder? Would you serve that with basmati or some other rice to make the most of that wonderful juice? Finally, what is your chosen method for extracting the marrow? That meal looked so delicious I wanted to jump through my screen and join you.

for those stupids who don't know how to respect such a talented person , who is inspiring many and have a huge number of followers than world famous chef's.. so it is up to individual common sense how to respect Mr.Vahchef.. If you cant respect him , better don't watch his videos, it wont make any difference if you like or dislike as he got millions as people who loves him and follows..

This recipe could also be made using a slow cooker--let it cook overnight. Also re salt: lemon juice added would be better and give the tang without the sodium. Again: Please list ingredients in your "about this video" section for your videos! Would really help us newbies.

regarding the use of fat on food i would recommend people to use Olive oil and when i say Olive oil i don't mean the dark green Olive oil that have the olive fragrant with it .. there is yellow Olive oil ment to be use for hot cooking . you can't use dark green olive oil because its ment to be used cold like salads and other cold dishes .. so use the Yellow Olive oil as a healthy alternative then other kinds of food oils .. i like food i like cooking and that how i cook my food :-)

dear chef it is whistle/ whistles, not vessels.vessel means container and another meaning is floating crafts. please please please pronounce 'w' properly don't replace with 'v,' and pronounce 'v' properly don't replace with 'w.'Since you are doing so well mashallah, you need to care about these things too. thanks for the great recipe indeed.god bless you.

Melinda Madarasz There IS salt in his dish, its provided by some of the ingredients he put in. You do not need to add extra salt to every dish, some spices have it in them naturally. And no i dont know how the little spice plants manage it. If you did add salt, you should choose a TINY amount of rock salt, but it would then have over 9.4g of salt which is more than you should take in a day.
