Whoever put these cutscenes together is really taking out important context that move the story. From Peter’s invention of the web line, miles getting stung and his inner doubt, to Kraven’s research of the other villains including a serum to scorpion’s poison etc.

Wow the video you’re watching cut out the part where scorpion tricked miles into opening a cell for him to get out. Scorpion stung him and that led to the illusion scene with miles in the water. Might want to find a different channel to watch these from, this one is missing a lot of context.

I feel like a lot of people miss something about martin lis face that gets realized later He's angry miles would let him drown Miles responds, angrily, that he doesn't know what he took from him And martin...pauses...almost like he's realizing something, followed by a mixture of emotions...none of which carry the anger he had moments ago If you don't know, keep that reaction in mind for later, if you do know though, can we applaud the devs for that peek and how it seems to go underappreciated at first? Also, very much love how human norman is in this game Sure he can be a piece of shit, but he's still human, and we get to see that thanks to Harry, it's nice

The reason why it feels jarring during some moments is because the person who edited it cut out a lot of the dialogue including most of the phone calls which have a lot of info about what they are doing.

Been loving this game so far! The downside to these types of cutscene videos is you can miss a lot of context that the gameplay provides, but nonetheless the story is amazing!

Seeing those bees/wasps section of the foundation mission made me wonder if we might be getting Swarm in Spider-Man 3, Swarm isn't much used these days, and also because we already have the Avengers kind off in the Insomniac universe, why not introduce Wasp. Wouldn't be surprised for Peter to get in touch with some avengers after this game - so like the first games' Yuri or Ganke side missions it could be Wasp or I don't know any other avenger. Anyway my wishes for the next game would be to see Big Wheel, Swarm, Beetle, Chameleon and maybe even Doc Ock again

I do think that they should’ve watched a different compilation of the cut scenes. there’s a five hour video on KZbin that shows off more of the cut scenes while also showing things that I’ve already seen not in this version they’re watching that gives better context. That being said, I’m all them doing it this way. I just finished watching the entire story of Spider-Man 2 mainly because I don’t have a PS five nor do I plan on spending $600 right now to buy one just to play this game I don’t have time for. Let them be them.

Whoever made these videos didn't just leave out gameplay that includes important story context, they also cut out actual cutscenes with necessary context to understand what's happening in parts they decided to leave in. I thought maybe the reaction is an edit of the videos, but when Miles is underwater they're trying to figure out why he's hallucinating bc the video just cuts that part out. His encounter with Scorpion happened in a cutscene. Why would someone cut out the Scorpion cutscene but then include the hallucination gameplay? That's a completely baffling editing choice. It wasnt a very long scene. Some of the interactive gameplay framing it could have been cut, instead all of it was and the video jumps forward to the immediate aftermath without explanation. A lot of the game's story advances through phone conversations or small bits of inner monologue, while many cutscenes are interwoven with gameplay. They were really not up to this task it seems. Some of the cuts feel randomly placed and/or are detrimental to the flow of the story.

When you turn a game and it's cutscenes into a movie you're always gonna have to decide what to keep and what to cut out, and nobody ever is gonna be 100 percent satisfied with what these cutscene channels decide to keep and not keep. This one works pretty well all things considered. It's just such a massive game, that isn't meant to be edited in the first place, there's always bound to be important stuff left out

Put it like this, when Jacksepticeye is at part4, others will be a bit behind or too far ahead which will ruin surprises. He also really wants to see the story like me, so I prefer his gameplay.

They show him struggle strength wise with things he really shouldnt like holding onto the carnival ride and another section that I wont spoil but seems very much in his wheel house.
