SPOILER ALERT: Blaze is Percival Merlina makes a Heel Turn and The Black Knight is actually King Arthur trying to stop Merlina, then you have to get Golden Armor (which makes you look and move like Super Sonic) and fight her. There, if anyone wondered what this game is about, I saved you a few hours of sadness.

***** I've been going to them yearly, and they are tons of fun. You don't have to dress up or anything like that. The food is phenomenal, better than just about damn near any restaurant I've been too, since they genuinely cook the food (the food's a little simple though i.e. burgers, soups, turkey legs, etc.) The shows and acts are well rehearsed, well done, and the performers are in love with their jobs. Souvenirs are all over the place, from small trinkets like rings and necklaces to genuine, REAL swords and exquisite handmade clothes. Souvenirs are a little on the pricier side for the best stuff, but small things are plenty affordable and the acts are free to watch. At the end of each act the performers will walk around or stand at the foot of the stage with a bowl of some kind accepting bills of any kind with a thanks for each person who donates. It's hard to tell what's better; the fun acts, the cooking, or watching people do something they love for a living.

I'm not even huge into Sonic games (tho I am partial to a few here and there beyond the original 3 and Knucks), but I was pretty happy to see "spindash quick looks" pop up, indicating that hopefully we'll see lots of it. I like listening to these guys discuss it, they mirror a lot of my own views and even teach me a couple things I didn't know. Plus, this title card is exactly what I see when I hear the name. Damn it.

At 10:30, one half of what I like to call the "classic dilemma" is brought up. On the one hand, you have games like Mario, which change very little from entry to entry. They are considered good, but also take a lot of flack for "not changing enough." Then we have games like Sonic, which tries to change every time, even when they seem to have found a successful formula (colors/generations), and are often criticized for not being enough like older games. Granted, a lot of Sonic titles implement their new mechanics pretty poorly, so there is a lot of valid criticism too. But both the valid and invalid criticisms bring it back to why I call it a "classic" dilemma; is it better to play it safe and make "classic style" games you know people like, or is it better to take risks with new, significantly divergent mechanics in every new game, at the risk of either A) making a mess that earns legit criticism, or B) gets criticized for being too different from the original, to the point the name is the only thing they arguably share, whether the game itself is good or not? I honestly don't know the answer for it.
