I don't think that's actually Octavia. We just saw Blitz's fears manifesting in probably a fear inducement montage, which likely means it's also happening to Stolas if he went to help with the haunting thing. Everyone's fears and insecurity seems to be the theme for this new season, which I live for because it'll tie up a lot for them.

I love Octavia because she reacts to things like a normal teen would. Despite the few times she was told that Stolas cares about her she is still confused and doubts it. She’s probably the only one that doesn’t know about the arranged marriage at this point, nobody has cared enough to even tell her besides when Stolas tried to and couldn’t word it out. The only thing I'm worried about is that they won't do enough character work on Stolus and Blitz's relationship. I just don't want Blitz to suddenly change his mind and love Stolus when the last few episodes he hasn't demonstraighted that he cares for him much at all, I'm not going to be covinced that he can go from not visiting him in the hospital to falling in love with him unless there's some pretty compelling charater work. I am excitied though to see what they do with it and hope that their story is well written

I've seen this a lot in the comments. Blitz does love Stolas. He does show this. You just need to look harder. Go back and freeze frame on those phones. Did you notice Blitz taking selfies with Stolas while Stolas slept? Blitz always shows up for Stolas, too. I love Stolas the most, but if I were a character in the show, I'd be Blitz. So maybe I understand him more. Blitz didn't go to see Stolas in the hospital because he was afraid after what happened with Fizz and didn't feel needed or wanted despite the invite. It wasn't his place to be there. To an extent, what happened to Stolas was due to his relationship to Blitz. You have to see that connection from Blitz's perspective in addition to what happened at Ozzy's. Blitz's want and second nature to defend his friends got in the way of his forsight of how standing out at Ozzy's would affect Stolas. The reason Blitz didn't want to go in with Stolas that night it was an awful night and Blitz fucked up things for Stolas and Stolas telling him he enjoyed himself and didn't mind was just not believable. Blitz still carried the self blame cuz he always makes things worse for others despite his intentions. Blitz doesn't see the good he does and is harsh on himself when others suffer. Eventually, Stolas will need to answer to his family for the choices he has made. But no harm will come to Stolas if Blitz can help it. If anyone were to die in this series, it would be Blitz. To Stolas' family, Blitz's death would be a punishment better than death. Blitz is an insignificant imp to them, after all.

She's hurting and considering she hasn't exactly had a great example of healthy relationships, she's likely struggling with worry that her father will 'abandon' her like he did her mother. WE know he didn't actually 'abandon' Stella, and we also know why he's left her, but I imagine Stolas has done his best to shieled Octavia of the worst of the abuse and Goeitian politics (just judging by the things she says about their marriage and how she doesn't seem to be held to the same standards as her parents by the court). However, he and Stella clearly fight in front of her (we have multiple examples of this). She likely hasn't exactly been taught the skills she needs right now to work through her emotions in a healthy manner, so she's lashing out because she wants reassurance she won't lose her dad because she's already lost the family she thought she had. It's not exactly an unexpected reaction for someone in her situation. Working through complicated situations that don't have an easy answer, learning how work through your emotions and trauma in a healthy manner, learning to recognize toxic relationships, learning how to recognize when you yourself aren't using healthy coping strategies (lashing out, pushing people away, ignoring the situation, etc), learning how to ask for help, to forgive and not be so hard on yourself, and just overall trying to learn from your mistakes and be a better person are ALL running themes in this amazing show. Trauma takes time to unravel and work through, and sometimes it gets messy. Sometimes traumatized people say and do hurtful things to people they care about when they don't mean them because they don't know what to do with all the hurt, or they think being around them when they're "broken" will only harm others and they want to push them away. Obviously, your opinion is perfectly valid, I just wanted to maybe give another viewpoint and say while the actual situations are fantastical and fiction, but the spirit of them are not. Viv does her best to portray real situations (some of which she's been through herself) and the real, sometimes ugly and complicated reactions people can have and the consequences they cause, which I think is why it's so easy to love this show. The characters are relatable and we feel for them and we get protective of our favs, so I totally understand it makes it hard to not get upset at certain characters when you get scenes like Stolas' daughter not being understanding when we're perfectly aware of what he's going through.
