@Mr Spacetime No disrespect, but I feel you've mistaken who you replied to for Courtney LaPlante, the former vocalist for IWABO and current for SpiritBox. This is Lauren Babic, who's the lead vocalist for CrazyEightyeight and red handed denial. I recommend you check them out, they have a cool sound. You're kind of accidentally asking Lauren to check your stuff out while not checking their stuff out. No biggie smalls though, just thought i'd let you know.

Saw Tatiana in the top thumbnail to the right for "Pisces," and the rest is history. Got myself and my son VIP meet n' greet tickets for Jinjer in Seattle November '19. Ridiculously excited, but super bummed that Spiritbox isn't their opener! That would be... the... most... insane... show!

First scream comes and it sounds like she's loosing her voice, a minute and 40 seconds later, it becomes clear her voice is PERFECTLY intact, almost 3 minutes in she goes lower and lower and stops sounding even slightly strained, then the last few screams go back to sounding incredibly strained! It's dam impressive to not only have the skill to go that fucking hard for 4 minutes, but choose when to make it sound like a struggle, and when to sound like pure power, and still have more than enough left to sing softly with nuance when she needs to. AND THIS WAS 5 YEARS AGO? Girl, Courtney is SO good, every new single, hell, every new recording of something I've heard before (live performance of circle with me with Tatiana says hi) I'm jumping up and down with excitement.

I love that four note thing you do at 1:49, Courtney. It seriously gives me chills and I was like, super hoping it sounded the same when I clicked on this video, because it was my favorite part of the song. It still sounds great here, and still my favorite part. Your screams are executed so impressively, and sound super angry and cool. You should be super proud of what you are doing in this band. All of you guys should be. That string bend that Mike is doing and that tone he got with his tuning just sounds insane. Bass is super cool and groovy, and add to the atmosphere so well during that half way slowdown. Drums sound punchy and bouncy, really satisfying. Super inspiring and this band sincerely has one of my favorite sounds. Just wanted to say thanks and you guys deserve every bit of success that comes your way. Been trying to share and spread awareness as much as possible on social media, and even sat my fiance down for a listen as well as a couple of friends who wouldn't normally groove to this kind of thing, but just felt I needed to share it.
