Tatiana is the Lead singer and front woman for the band Jinjer. Tatiana has some of the best cleans and screams in metal today. Matching Tati with Courtney was Just pure magic.

Say hello to Tatiana. You now have to check out Jinjer. I recommend the following order: Pisces (Live Session), Perennial (Live at Waken Open Air 2019), Vortex, Judgement & Punishment (One-take Vocals), Teacher Teacher, Disclosure!, Scissors (earlier Jinjer), Sit Stay Rollover (song that Napalm Records discovered them), Someone's Daughter, Call Me A Symbol, On The Top, Home Back (about an earlier war in Ukrain), Retrospection, Wallflower, my favorite 'Pit of Conscience (Live at Kiev)' and Who Is Gonna Be the One (Live). Tati's growls are unmatched! \m/

Tatiana is probably one of the best growlers and screamers in metal music, male or female. She’s a beast on the mic. Jinjer is definitely a band you should check out.

Tati is a machine, matched with one of the best bands in the truly superb Jinjer. Spiritbox and Jinjer are both at the forefront of my fresh enthusiasm for modern metal; these bands not only sound 'unconventional' but are premier musicians pushing the envelopes of skill, sound and talent - just the way metal should. As for this live guest collaboration, it is beyond superb and heartbreaking that I will almost certainly never get to see it live myself; that would be beyond special. Also, both Courtney and Tati seem to be down-to-earth, fan-friendly and positive influences, producing lyrics that hit hard emotionally, so what more could any metal fan wish for? Seriously, it is a great era of metal.

This was soooo damn hilarious!! I’m a “Die Hard Super fan” of Jinjer for 7+ years now, but I do listen to Spirit Box.. The look on your face when Tati stepped in with the harsh vocals (dropped the bomb 💣 ) was PRICELESS Brother! 😆🤣 Courtney is good but Tati is “The Queen” 🙌🏽🖤🤘🏽

Oh boy if you never heard Jinjer you're in for a treat. Usually people discover Jinjer first and then Spiritbox later. So I highly recommand you to check "Pisces" from Jinjer 😉

If you don't know Jinjer (pronounced like Ginger) I HIGHLY suggest checking them out. Courtney is spectacular but Tati is Courtney squared. Pisces is where most people start.

I wouldn't say Courtney squared but yes Pisces is a good introduction to Jinjer for people not used to this type of music.

@@RyAnxiety1she’s definitely better. Her screams are more raw and dimensional than Courtney’s. There’s also much more pitch correction used for Courtney than they ever do for Tati, if any. If she misses a note, it’s known. Her air control, the quality of her notes, and her tone, all whilst speaking a language that isn’t her first, Tati is definitely a bit better. This doesn’t take away from how good Courtney is, as she’s a monster in her own right; but it emphasizes how ridiculous Tati is.

@@travisspaulding9540The only thing that bugs me about this is how there are people who still compare the two of who’s “the best” when both Courtney and Tati have said in Q&As that they wish people would stop doing that. Their vocal styles are completely different, as well as their music/sub genres that they fit into. There shouldn’t be a “better” vocalist comparison, and I’ve seen it happen much more often when it comes to female vocalists as opposed to male vocalists and unfortunately it’s because of their gender. We should never pit women together. They’re both sick vocalists and sick bands in their own right. But I will say thank you for not completely downgrading Courtney as I’ve noticed a lot of people do and that it doesn’t take away from her talent.

En futbol : cristiano o messi. Quien canta mejor, Corey Taylor, o Mike patton, que grupo es mejor Iron Maiden o Metallica...etc etc. Yo hasta hace bien poco me encantaba el metal con voz masculina siempre creyendo que el gutural siempre era mas potente en hombres, me gustaba mas las chicas en otros estilos del rock, ahora te digo, es mejor Taty que Courtney, absolutamente SÍ , en el mas amplio rango tanto agudo como gutural y antes de criticarme , hazme la pregunta correcta, es Tatyana mejor voz metalera ? Yo: tatyana es brutalmente mejor que el 99% de hombres del metal y el gutural mas demoniacamente desgarrador. Tatyana sobresale delante de quien le pongas al lado sea hombre o mujer. La unica persona a la que expondria al lado de Tatyana y volarme la cabeza seria Corey Taylor de Slipknot y YA. Insisto en lo que tienes razon podria ser en comparar por polemica pero eso se ha hecho siempre, mañana canta o tocan dos tios y lo hacen genial y todos comparamos igual. Quien era mejor Mozart o Beethoven? No compareis Dioses para generar polemica, ambos pero siempre uno es mas favorito y se comparan aun siendo estilos distintos. Lo que no veras es a alguien escribir como tu: se les compara por ser hombres. Cada minuto en el mundo alguien compara algo con otra cosa igual o parecida . Nintendo o SEGA. sony o xbox, koji kondo o nobua uematsu. Que compositor es mejor el de The legend of Zelda o el de Final fantasy....no os obsesioneis tanto con el maldito género. Encima se puede ver si una comparación es a mala fé o no. Si el chaval que escucha dice: he escuchado ambas bandas y me gusta mas Spirit box y alguien quisiera obligarle a pensar por narices diferente habria polemica, pero encima creo que la gente le ha querido decir: conoces a Spiritbox y son brutales pero acabas de decir que no sabias quien era jinjer y tatyana, pues encima vas a flipar. Como diciendo la que te espera de bien. Y no solo porque crea que tatyana sea mejor vocalista, si no que creo que spirit y courtney es una banda de 9, pero ELLOS en conjunto jinjer, Roman bajista, bateria , guitarrista y los discos y canciones tambien son superiores un 10. Mira ahora si estoy generando polemica por mi insistencia en compararles, esta vez si, a las bandas al completo donde jinjer son mas numero de hombres tocando instrumento, es por el genero ? Es culpa del genero o de demostrarte lo estupidos que somos a veces en vez de disfrutar ambas cosas ? Saca una conclusión maravillosa yo la pienso y la digo, cuantos chicos o grupos hombres colman el metal , el 98 % , el gutural ha sido masculino, pues yo creo que Tatyana estaria en el top 1 o 2 actual , y courtney tambien estaria arriba del todo encima de la mayoria de grupos masculinos. Y eso es maravilloso. Y es una gran noticia para el metal y que crezca sin divisiones. Yo conozco a Jinjer y Tatyana como vocalista de hace poco mas de un año y me fui SOLO a un concierto a verlos, y he colocado a Tatyana en el top muy por encima de muchisimas vocales masculinos que llevo escuchando 20 años, si ella es Tatyana y es mujer y es superior en rango vocal y gutural a lo que tenia arriba durante mas de 20 años. Ella es un Ser Superior actual y la mejor progresión de voz en transiciones limpias que jamas he visto. Desde los 80 cuando una banda de teenager de 16 años creaban Kill em all , ride the lightning, o master of puppets , ya el mundo del heavy metal estuvo a casi diario comparandolos con absolutamente toda banda de reyes del metal de faraones sin pensar que en ese momento Metallica eran Dioses, y a los dioses no se les puede comparar, en el metal actual hay faraones, emperadoras , reinas reyes..con una progresión muy increible, Courtney es una de las reinas que mas destaca, Sí.....Tatyana? Tayana se sienta junto a Afrodita o Atenea. O del mismo Zeus. Y No se puede comparar a los Dioses/ Diosas. Si lo pensaras realmente bien, si en un estilo como el metal groove metal thrash que siempre o casi siempre eran bandas masculinas, y siempre comparando estilos nivel, discos voces, salen dos chicas Courtney y Tatyana y no se compararan, seria mas lógica que alguien dijera, o sea que se compara a todos con todos y cuando hay dos chicas actualmente arriba , no las comparais, cuando esto siempre se ha hecho? Que pasa que como son mujeres no se las compara porque no interesa? Esto por ejemplo seria mucho mas machista. U otro tipo podria decir, ah las estais comparando porque claro son Blancas entonces si interesa el tema porque son de raza blanca, si fuera chica y negra nadie hablaria ni la compararia , no interesa....xD. el género, el género 😂. Y el género.

I suggest we start right away with their most powerful performance - Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev). Or find their best full concert on KZbin - LIVE at Hellfest 2021.

First time I've heard harmonized heavy vocals! These ladies are having so much fun and are the Founders of the female heavy vocal movement! There's a new female band out there, they're young but the scream is epic. Check out Sleepwalker by The Pretty Wild after Jinjer :)

I do not all the way agree with that they are the Founders You got female fronted bans much longer then these 2. With growls and some of the heavier then Tati. Check out Arch Enemy, Kittie, Otep Shamaya, and much more. They are just more populair

She does do cleans. I think The Wolf You Feed is one off the top of my head where she does some cleans, but there have been others. She’s got a beautiful voice too. She just doesn’t do cleans as often
