This season of Handmaid's had me screaming at the TV! In a good way! Such an amazing show and Elizabeth Moss is untouchable. I believe next season is the last - can't wait to see who will be June's next victim (and it better be Aunt Lydia)

Bravo Emma! Thrilled you mentioned "Rear Window", such a classic feature. The story and acting are fantastic, but what makes it even better is the fashion and interior design of the time...And the way they talked, little phrases that people don't use anymore.

The handmaids tale is really incredible the actors are phenomenal! 💜 Elizabeth Moss has to be one of the best actresses I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching honestly, every micro expression takes my breath away she’s just out of this world lol I also love Madeline Brewer as Janine, she has my heart 💜 but yeah I love the show and even though I thought it was a little slow it really was worth the watch and I’m excited for next season! Also… REALLY HYPED for your new video 👀 it’s going to be so cool to watch 👀

I'm glad you gave Thoroughbreds another chance and liked it slightly more. I really loved that film, guess I was just in the right mood for it. The dry, sociopathic characters gave me Heathers vibes and I loved that they left a climactic scene to your imagination.

I feel you every time you talk about Handmaids 😂 it’s honestly my favourite show and I have no idea how people find it boring!! Every episode has had me on the edge of my seat! Most people I know gave up around season 2 also, I’ve spent the last few months just trying to convince them it’s definitely more fast paced this season! But I don’t see how they got bored to begin with 😭😂 You should check out the book The Testaments if you haven’t already, it’s a great read!

Thanks for the list, Emma. I will take your advice and check out "Mare Of Easttown". I spent part of June finally seeing the second & final season of "Scream Queens". Here is the list of horror/thrillers I saw in June: TOO SCARED TO SCREAM (1984) - score 5/10 THE RIFT (1990, aka ENDLESS DESCENT) - score 6/10 THE EVICTORS (1979) - score 6/10 WHEN A STRANGER CALLS (1979) - score 7/10 CURSE OF THE SWAMP CREATURE (1968) - score 3/10 MURDER, MY SWEET (1944) - score 10/10 (private eye classic) MOTHRA VS. GODZILLA (1964) - score 9/10 THE HAUNTED STRANGLER (1958) - score 7/10 (Boris Karloff classic) CURSE OF THE FACELESS MAN (1958) - score 4/10 VOODOO MAN (1944) - score 4/10 (low budget Bela Lugosi film) THE CONJURING: THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT (2021) - score 9/10 (not as good as the first two, but I still loved it) CENSOR (2021) - score 6/10 KILLER MOVIE (2008) - score 6/10 LET'S SCARE JULIE (2019) - score 4/10 (why was this film hyped-up so much?)

I loooooooved season 4 of Handmaids! It was very satisfying, especially the end I was cheering (if you know you know). Elisabeth Moss just keeps blowing me away in ways I never new she could. Cruel Summer was also good! I also liked how each episode was structured. It made it more engaging I thought. I wouldn’t say it’s amazing, but still a “fun” watch and mystery to unravel. Glad you liked it!! ☺️☺️

In the earth looked made for me - it definitely falls into weird horror but more than lovecfraftian this could have been written by Machen and it is one of the highest praises for me. Plus Clint Mansell already killed me with the score of that 80s nostalgia episode of Black Mirror called San Junipero ( I know it's cheesy but... fav episode In the series by far) and he does it again with an incredible score with analogue synths and sequencers. Micro spoiler alert - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -through the movie there's also a reference to a pandemic similar to covid but way worse but never explained clearly.

Great video as always. I'm really curious if you are going to watch the mini-series adaption of Lisey's Story? So far I think it's only on Apple TV and I've only watched one episode but it seems pretty faithful to the Stephen King novel (one of my favorites), which is probably the main advantage to adapting a kind of longish book into a series instead of a movie.

If you like Wallace and Gromit you should search out The Pinchcliffe Grand Prix - the english dub is really fun, the original is Scandinavian. Wallace and Gromit before wallace and gromit imo. It's charming.

I made it into a video! But it was Gravedancers. Don’t just my three and a half. I felt the same way about it! It’s not the best, but it’s a nostalgic watch for me. 😅

Sorry I don’t know why it missed the date on my diary. Sometimes it does that and I don’t realise. I thought it was good but perhaps not my humour… I didn’t think it was as great as everyone made it out to be. I watched a lot comedians in lockdown… like actually doing lives at their house 😂 but I’m more about satire comedy then I guess irony ? Hope that answers your question?

I watched La Casa Lobo this month and really recommend it for beautiful art and eeriness. Look up Colonia Dignidad before you watch it though.
