I’m the endurance athlete watching these videos, I get a lot of them and really appreciate the effort and knowledge. Thank you.

Just to support some of the comments in this series, I find these videos exceptional with the inclusion of video content within the video. My students always have a challenging time understanding content in the sports courses I run. These videos give fantastic content to prime their knowledge for teaching sessions. Thank you for producing such high quality material. Well done.

You guys are honestly great! Theres really not much out there with the kind of detail you guys provide. Explained very well and all your series are a great resource to have. Keep making these types of videos. I recommend you guys to everyone👌

I speak for everyone when I thank you for such amazing detailed high quality content. However, I speak for every non-American when I personally thank you for referring to AMERICAN FOOTBALL as AMERICAN FOOTBALL, instead of calling it FOOTBALL

Great video! Would be interested to hear about your take on Velocity-Based Training, and whether that's something you use in your weightlifting training/coaching.
@JuggernautTrainingSystems5 жыл бұрын
Can be tremendously beneficial for sport training. For training weightlifters, there are some who use it effectively but essentially if a lift is missed or made is a pretty good velocity indicator.

Great work. Are you still intending to do more videos on strongman? Because I'd love to see it and I feel like you'd fill a pretty significant gap there.

Quick question: I am a rugby player and a couple years ago I put on weight because I felt like i was too small, I’m now around 105 kg at 6’4”. Since then my running has felt weak, not that slow just weak how would you recommend to develop more strength in running
@sportstrainingsystems45755 жыл бұрын
A complete training program (general weights, sprints, jumps, throws, and tempo) Some specific strength work may help you with sleds and hills.
@JuggernautTrainingSystems5 жыл бұрын
Develop greater relative general strength with Squat and Deadlift Variations, plus pressing and bodyweight pulling like Chinups/Pullups. Then compliment that with more special strength development through hill runs and sled sprints.

Hey Chad, I'd love to hear your thoughts about where BJJ fits in on the intensity zone chart and what exercises you think the ideal BJJ conditioning program might include. It sounds like basement tempos might be a good start? Thanks for the great content.

I'll have more future videos that are specific to BJJ training.

How would you structure a Conditioning routine for a high school football team that have a majority of its players play both ways?

Is it counterproductive to train different energy systems within the same session?
@JuggernautTrainingSystems5 жыл бұрын
Generally, that is going to be an issue of violating Directed Adaptation but since many sports deal with multiple systems its going to happen.

Maybe I missed it, but why exactly do we intersperse exercise (abs, push-ups, etc) during tempo runs?
@JuggernautTrainingSystems5 жыл бұрын
Christian Schneider you don’t have to, just an easy way to increase volume and work capacity.
