The poll rate of full art immersive cards (4 star) is 0.013% so for all the free to play players, that means in two years a probability of 94% to have a 4 star card unlocking 2 packs per day only

With how much they're advertising immersive cards, those rates sound kinda evil 😂 I worry about the trading economy, since you can actually use dupes for something. There might be an undersupply of very rare cards, and a lot of overpricing.

@@_shadiness I hope they reconsider duplicates, at least to allow you to have duplicates of a card, what's the point of trading if you can't trade duplicate cards, as in real life

@@danielc5647 No, you can turn duplicates into that currency you use to add extra effects to your cards, only if you want. But it would be cool if you could just get those effects for pulling a dupe altogether and still be able to keep it for trading.

Pack points exist. Opening 1 pack will generate 10 points. You'll need like 2,500 points to get one of the emersive or crown rarity cards

I might be wrong, but I think the actual likelihood of getting a 4 star card in these circumstances is closer to 20%. You have 99.969% chance of pulling a non-4-star card each time you open a pack. Assuming you open 2 packs a day, that gives you 730 chances. .99969^730 ≈ .79745, and 1 - .79745 = .20255, meaning there's about a 20% chance that on one of those days you'll get a four-star rare card...I think? I dunno, I may be totally off on this.

damn, guess im stuck playing unite forever then 🤘😔 fr though, i play the regular tcg a ton, so this doesnt really appeal to me much. im glad folks are excited about it though, and i hope it gets more people intrigued about playing the standard tcg too! it looks like a lovely introduction for peeps who are unfamiliar with it.

I'm curious about the binder element. Do you know how many cards are allowed on a single binder page? Can that be changed or does it vary depending on the binder you get?

One question That still remains for me, you mention that if people want it they will consider supporting a competitive scene of the game - which makes sense. But does gameplay support this potential? Did the battles you played feel strategic enough to catch the interest of competitive players? Like me! I am very hyped for this game, and if the gameplay is strategic enough I can see myself going all in trying to win locals and regionals if that where to start happening! Cant wait

I think I know why they wouldn't allow trading for different rarities, but I wish they'd let us make that decision. Find a way to make it as much like the paper tcg as possible. Especially if it's leaning towards collecting. I don't know why this is that complicated in 2024. I dunno. I just want to be able to do what I want I guess lol. I'd love to see some sort of NFT kind of action, like if I have a super rare card, make it worth something in the community or something like that. If that even makes sense. Either way, I'm SUPER excited about this and can't wait to be able to play. Appreciate all you do, Jake!

I'm sure they contemplated the concept of x amount of cards with x value is = to say full art immersive Mewtwo, but they probably scrapped it since managing the economy themselves would be a headache. Still, not allowing trading for different rarities sounds kinda sucky. At the very least you will be able to trade your rare cards you didn't want for another that you were looking for.

I think you should only be able to trade duplicates. I think you'll only be able to trade with friend list people or if they add Wonder Trades, limit it to an X number of trades per day. Dunno about rarity. But I would assume the Card your offering will be traded for a card of equal value or less value. Like trading a 3 diamond card will give you either another 3 diamond card or lower rarity, but not higher

I hope this game explodes, explodes in the way that they do a lot of updates and pay attention to keep the game alive and going! Also, i hope that if that happens, they come out with their own collection cards we can buy physically and scan for this game only, to keep it separate from the global TGC Like this i can have my own small world of tcg and start from 0 ❤.

this app really doesnt interest me much tbh, as i play the regular tcg a bunch (i go to locals weekly. its a blast!), but im happy to see people excited about it! it seems like a great introduction to the game aspect of the tcg, and i hope it can convince some folks who havent played before to give it a try! kinda like how pokemon go/the lets go games relate to the regular mainline games in terms of accessibility. I'll probs give it a try though. may as well!

How many duplicates are we able to hold? Is it infinite or limited where if i hit that limit say 100 common cards and i pull another the 101st card is automatically turned into the cosmetic dust?

Hyped, thanks for clarifying! One question I have is on the wonder pick stamina. We see in the footage you and others showed that the stamina needed to wonder pick varies. Do you know why? I am assuming better friend packs will require more stamina to wonder pick from.

They made a app store tutorial with pretty cool battle tuorials sadly that's all it is just a tutorial to get you to play the real game but man I would love for them to make it fully online at one point

Thanks Jake! Do you know if trading a card will actually make you ‘lose’ that card in quantity? So if I trade a duplicate card I have, will I still have 2 of that card after I trade it, or will I have 1 left? Might be a silly question, but there was a mixed message somewhere about being able to gift someone a card per day or something that was essentially ‘copied’ over to them rather than trading…

@@pearbear8029 I think your confusing what you’re saying with the wonder pick system. In the game there’s a system where you’ll be able to see what other people including what your friends have pulled. You can then choose one of the packs they opened to get any 1 random card they pulled. You can also do it multiple times until you get the card you want that the person pulled.

So Jake. How many copies of a card can be in a deck? Is it worth having more than 1 copy of a card?

On Pokebeachs report, it says you can only have 2 copies of any card in your deck. Any duplicates after that can be exchanged for cosmetic changes for that card. Like adding sparkles or pokeballs stamps on the Card.

I can only assume that trading will cost some amount of dust or something and maybe they take cues from like Pokemon Go with ownership and friendship discounts or something and add limits to "special trades" or something to that effect
