Fashion is most definitely an art form. A lot of works that go on the runway - especially if labeled ‘couture’ (which is just supposed to mean high end fashion instead of fast fashion) - are more of an art piece than actual wearable everyday clothing. Most runway pieces like this are to make a statement. It’s not something they actually plan to put in an actual store usually.

Tbh, this is basically what high fashion means: high expectation, high maintenance and high value. The dress was sprayed on to her body but it's still fabric, tho, not paint. And it seems kinda easy for the other lady to peel it off of Hadid's skin so it might not be that bad. The only problem is taking it of after this, so yep, this is just a performance, and the dress didn't survived.

I listened to this last night (1st night) after it popped up in my feed. Strange reactions. I had intense dreaming all night and felt what could only be described as what your phone feels like when using a strong charging cord. No…i think you might be misunderstanding, it’s more for people who make the dresses, like instead of working for months on a dress, they can spray it on a model, peel off the dress and mass produce it. This can also work if you want custom made measurements or something.
