SPRING SLOW FLOW 🌸 enchanting spring equinox yoga [25 mins] Wheel of the Year Yoga
✨🌷🐇🥚✨ Welcome to a 25 min yoga class honoring Ostara or the Spring/Vernal Equinox on the Wheel of the Year. The Vernal Equinox, also known as Ostara and Alban Eilir is on March 20 and marks the first day of Spring. We survived the winter, and today we gather to celebrate new beginnings, rebirth, and growing light with 30 mins of slow flow yoga.
On this day, light and darkness come into balance and we step into the season of the sun. The Spring Equinox, aligned with the dawn and the sacred East, is associated with great birds, like Eagle. These creatures, hailing from the land of the rising sun, are the highest fliers with the grandest perspective. Known for his keen sight and soaring flight, it is said that Eagle "can see the mouse and the mountain all at once." Eagle wisdom shows us the big picture and how everything is connected in divine balance. 🦅
In Spring, we enter a manifested realm where we are surrounded by fertility, creativity, and becoming. Just as the Earth is in bloom with new life, so too, can we take our lessons learned from the winter and find ourselves in bloom with new ideas. Let's embrace this season with the spirit of a new day, ready to grow and expand our horizons. 🌄

What I love about spring is the rebirth of everything it’s so exciting! I really loved this class! It was a big tough but it shows me I’m capable of doing something different! The longer days are giving me *LIFE* and it’s going to be so warm this week. I can’t wait. I love all the super fragrant flowers like lilies and hyacinths. Morning class today. Really nice and a bit of a challenge going into the standing figure four with a twist. I had to hold on to something to do it. The windshield wipers and then into laying down on my stomach was fantastic for my sore hip extensors. Once again, you mix things up and make the poses interesting without causing too much confusion or being too difficult for me to do. Doing your Aries New Moon class next! My favorite Spring flower is Lilacs, they remind me of my paternal grandmother who had 12-foot-tall Lilac bushes along her house, they were so huge, my cousins and I used to play underneath them, it was our secret hideout!
