Appreciate your review and expertise. I had the regular Hellcat first and recently got the RDP. I agree with everything you said. I did not know if the RDP would be as easy to conceal but I am not having any issue with it. The added comp And Hex wasp don’t seem to Be a problem. I just added the 15 magazine and appreciate the extra capacity. Even though it’s a little heavier, I feel secure and confident with this option. Right out of the box I was able to shoot accurately from 30 feet. I concur with your value for the money even though it is a little more than some people may be looking to spend, well worth it! Just as a sidenote, I’m at 62-year-old woman with arthritis :-) definitely a great option for just about anyone I think.

I like his review. He’s right. It did shoot a little to the left. But then again so did the regular hellcat when I tried it. I’m not a pro but I guess just adjust the wasp to the right. Again, that’s just my opinion based from owning guns for about two years. I found out about The Hellcat late in 2020. Tried it. It snapped back hard and to the left. In early 2021,I bought the RPD. The comp was great. Still a little left. It could be me. Still learning to adjust the wasp as I’m an new to guns. Love the gun though. Easy to conceal. And packs a punch. I have the new 15 clip. Love it.

When it comes to products, we pride ourselves on always giving our honest feedback… So you’ll never see us embellish because it’s a “free product”. We personally have loved the Axil products. They definitely work differently than some of the other electronic hearing protection devices on the market. Some of the other brands that I’ve tried amplify everything until there’s a higher decibel noise then cuts everything out completely. Works great in many situations especially on the range. What we like about these is being able to communicate while filming and not being completely silenced. Even outside of the range, for example mowing the lawn, the sound of the mower is tolerable and I can still hear my wife if she’s yelling (now that’s sort of a curse and a blessing) 🤣

Why shouldn't you "slave" the dot to the sights? I did that on my MR920, 43x with my HD XR sights, and I put the MR920 fighting sights on my PDP with the Holosun 509c and they are PERFECTLY zeroed and accurate. I've always read and seen that you shouldn't do that but I did it to get a starting point and it worked with no adj. needed. Also for anyone that is looking for a 1/3 lower co-witness for the PDP with the RMR footprint the Shadow Systems Fighting Sights work perfectly as they are a bit taller than standard sights but not comically tall like supressor hight sights.
@HuntFishShootChannel3 жыл бұрын
It’s funny you say that but it’s dependent on sights for your gun and if they are low barely co-witness sights your point of aim or dot makes you cant the gun to line up, now on suppressor height sights the dot is a lot of times line up. The term slaving is sighting the red dot into the sight or moving it to the sight instead of how it’s actually impacting the target. Aaron Cowan of Sage Dynamics explains all this in much greater detail and more knowledgeable than I. I do really appreciate the input on the sights for the PDP as I look to upgrade the ones on mine! Thank you for watching!
@Jasondranoff3 жыл бұрын
@@HuntFishShootChannel that makes sense thanks for the input I never knew why people said that. I'm new to dots.... Think of it like the G48 with an optic because with the comp and longer barrel they are almost identical in size. A lot of people sleep on the Hellcat, and they shouldn’t they shoot so well and on top of that you aren’t spending $40 for mag and 20 for a mag release for a 48/43X to get competitive capacity. This is coming from someone who carries a G48 50%. People often compare the Hellcat to a P365 and in reality it’s more of a direct competitor to Glock. (Design, trigger, grip)

I wish you guys would tell the truth about this gun and let everyone know the wasp optic is garbage with the totally automatic wasp optic. In low level light its garbage. Saw it tried it garbage. Bought a osp model hellcat put a holosun 507k on it. He is absolutely lying about the wasp being good. Yes the build quality is just descent. The comp is good they should just sell the barrel and comp. Don't make people buy the whole gun for the raggedy optic that comes on it, just sell the barrel and comp.
@HuntFishShootChannel3 жыл бұрын
No one is lying here. This video as you see it is a first impression. We reviewed this right out of the box. As a matter of fact you’ll here me say that this isn’t a proven optic and that we have no clue about durability, battery life claims, etc. To your other point… initially this was released only with the Wasp, but they are now offering it with a Shield SMSC… and don’t quote me on this, but I’ve also seen them advertised without an optic… but that’s not listed on their site.
@very79622 жыл бұрын
@@HuntFishShootChannel the RDP is not offered without a red dot option. But I have to agree with the sentiment. The WASP just doesn’t live up to the marketing hype. The biggest flaw is the auto adjusting brightness. It just doesn’t work outright. Which is why for my RDP I got the shield SMSc. At this point Springfield should just pull the WASP entirely until they’ve fixed the problems. The SMSc is a blessing. It actually works like a red dot should.
